(Note: The previous version which a handful of you saw, was pretty poor quality from my phone, so I have hidden that video and tried again with my main camera.)
Megan, Mary and I are finally in our own place! With a great size ground floor ideal for a workshop. No more renting!
Thanks for joining me. This is an update video showing the workshop progress over the last week or two.

Sorry for the long delay in releasing this one folks. The next one will come more quickly. Just the motor mount, and some lower enclosure pieces to do.
Then - it's on to the Milling Machine DRO!

Check out the first part of my SuperBench (TM) build series! Over 160mm/6" thick for extra mass and stability. This bench will be like a simplified roubo style top, but with a steel base eventually. I get to give my thicknesser, jointer, hand plane a bit of a work out! Thanks to Geoff for the loan of some woodworking clamps for this glue up.

Slightly longer video about making a thumbwheel to make my mill knee crank easier to take on and off. Also a lengthy side bar (in the middle) with a couple of measuring tricks for the lathe - covering digital caliper usage (thanks Myfordboy), and balanced cuts (thanks Carl White and Stefan Gottewinter).

Comparing the build quality of Stanley, Sidchrome, Maxim and Mechpro tool trolleys and tool chests.
I have no affiliation to any company. I have purchased all these with my own money for use in my workshop. Nothing was provided for review. However knowing what I know now, if Sidchrome would like to send me free toolboxes, I will happily find some space :o) (you can never have too many)
