In this video I review and demonstrate the use of a simple USB audio mixer Behringer Xenyx Q502USB and the Behringer MicroMon MA400 headphone amplifier to achieve zero-latency multitrack song recording.
Make sure you also watch my updated video showing zero latency with no MA400!

The final part of the series. I run some simple testing, go over its latency settings and do a few demo recording.
For a budget home recording studio, the Behringer Firepower FCA1616 Audio Interface is a great flexible choice with its ample audio inputs and outputs, not to mention the effects insert options on all of its input channels. Two headphone outputs is a bonus.
Option to add ADAT in & out for additional 8 inputs and outputs, plus SPDIF and MIDI, you have it all.
USB 2.0 or Firewire? Not a problem, got both connections available.
8/10 rating from me.

Wanted to find out if it is possible to convert an audio clip to MIDI notes, then use the MIDI notes clip to play a VST Instrument? I'll show you how with this quick demo using Studio One Pro.
From my recent recording session of a violin, I wanted to add a backing or supporting strings that played the same notes as the live recorded one. I could play the MIDI notes with a keyboard, but I thought I share the knowledge on how to do it within Studio One V3.5 Pro and Melodyne.

Have you ever wandered how you could use two audio interfaces to have additional microphone inputs and audio outputs? It is not as simple as connecting them to your PC. In this video I explain and demonstrate how.
P.S. I just purchased a new musical instrument, see it at the end of the video.
