Auto Rust Repair Information at http://CollisionBlast.com Rust not only looks bad, but will continue to spread if not taken care of. Rust should be taken care of as soon as you first notice signs of rust present. If repaired early enough, a patch panel will not need to be made. You should be able to remove the rust and use the remaining metal with cutting and welding. However, if there is a whole, the rust has eaten completely through the metal and require cutting a section out and welding a new piece in.
