Incorporated Season Finale [Review] Episodes 9-10
Ben stares in awe at the 3D rendering of HIMSELF carrying Roger's corpse. He runs facial recognition on his accomplice, revealing that it's an up-and-coming cage fighter named Theo (whom Ben, with his Aaron persona erased, doesn't recognize). Ben heads to the Red Zone and tracks down Theo, who tries to convince him of his real identity. A video of Elena doesn't spark any memories … but the ring Theo uses to project her message certainly does: it's the same kind of ring he just bought for Laura!
However, Ben does recognize the fella in the background of an old photo of Ben and Theo in the Red Zone: Hendrick, the guy from HR at work (back then known as Reed). En route to Hendrick's hideout in Franklin Heights (the address of which Ben finds in his car's GPS), Ben and Theo run into none other than Chad Peterson, the former SPIGA employee Ben framed for attempting to steal tech from the office. Chad's in bad shape, but he does recognize Ben as they guy who ruined his life. He attacks Ben, but luckily Ben's traveling with a cage fighter.
Ben is being held captive by an Inazagi commando team, with their leader Tobias demanding he give up the Everclear program. Ben refuses to hand over company secrets … even when Tobias holds a gun to Laura's head, which leads to her brains being splattered all over her husband.
Don't worry … it was actually all a simulation, a test to measure Ben's loyalty to SPIGA. Elizabeth is pleased with his performance (even though it involved her own daughter being murdered — all make-believe, sure, but still) and now Ben can truly join the 40th Floor as Senior VP of Counter Intelligence Tech.
