Is NEW Joy Con Patent For The Switch Pro?
Patents for a new joy con for the switch have surfaced, and it has the gaming world discussing the switch pro yet again. It appears to include a traditional d pad, which is what everyone wanted, and includes two other buttons believed to be the home and screenshot button on the left joycon. I did some further research about Nintendo and their switch patents, and found an interesting article that may debunk these being designed for the switch pro. Sony expectedly isn't able to compete on a one to one scale with xbox game pass, and Xbox Game Pass has responded to Sony's new offering. Jim Ryan also stated that day one exclusives are detrimental to the quality and value of their games. PSVR 2 is rumored to release Holiday 2022 according to an "insider" knowledgeable on the matter. As usual, take this with a hefty grain of salt, but it shouldn't be a surprise that Sony would plan to release the PSVR successor later in 2022 to get rid of any models of the current hardware as they try and meet demand of the PS5. A recently filed trademark from Sony alludes to an upcoming event speculated for the first week of July. With Sony and PlayStation parting ways with the once widely regarded E3 this year, and subsequently the years to come; will this be their response to the slew of titles revealed? The last PSX event took place in 2017 in the US and 2018 in Bangkok, so it is fair to assume this one would have to be the show to top E3 after being in an apparent limbo since.
