Just wanted to swing in here and give some updates. Some people have linked to me a video where someone claims that the screenshots in question are fake, but that video provides no evidence of editing. They bring up image compression, otherwise known as those artifacts that can appear in an image when it is made smaller for sending around the internet, as if it proves doctoring of the images; sadly, it does not. Believe me, I'd love to see proof of this all being a hoax more than anyone, but I use photoshop on a nearly daily basis and creating so many screenshots of chat logs would be exxtrrremelyy difficult. Seriously, try photoshopping a screenshot yourself, and you'll see what I mean. Even edited web pages shown in movies (movies with millions of dollars behind them, mind you) show evidence of being messed with. Even ignoring all of that, ask yourself: what does somebody have to gain if they faked all that? Not to mention the timelines; all the events mentioned in the chats line up with posts from Twitter, from YouTube videos. Don't you think his telegram account getting "hacked and deleted" *right* as the images were leaked is a little bit weird? If someone were able to hack into a telegram account, telegram being an extremely secure service (I'm not even sure if cloning a SIM card would allow access!), why would they delete the account? If they were malicious wouldn't it make more sense to say incriminating things on the account than to create a bunch of screenshots? Take a step back and look at the evidence, and the evidence to the contrary, and see what conclusion you come to. I know it's really difficult to realize that somebody isn't who you think they are, if that makes sense. Sometimes people are really good at hiding parts of themselves, and it can be really hard to accept that, I get it. But remember, real furs aren't monsters. Emergency upload.
