Remington 597 Suppressed: shooting .22 LR w/ a Liberty Mystic Silencer
The Liberty Mystic suppressor can be used on a huge range of calibers and firearms, and we'll try to get a bunch of different guns on camera to see what they sound like with the can. In this video, we test out a Remington 597 HB (heavy barrel). This was a factory rifle without threads, and my AWESOME gunsmith, Nick of http://hctcfirearms.com/, turned down the barrel and threaded it for me. The job is 100% absolutely perfect and looks completely factory.
Hopefully I can find a sub-sonic load that cycles the action of the Remi... if .22 ammo ever becomes available again, that is :-(

The REX zero 1 S is a new 9mm pistol from Arex out of Slovenia. It's very similar to the SIG P226 and P229, but actually has more features. It seems extremely well-made, and has proven 100% reliable for me. The gun is being imported by FIME Group out of Las Vegas. MSRP is just $599.

Quite the unique little .22 LR pistol! Uses Ruger 10/22 magazines. They are "available" through Davidson's (https://www.galleryofguns.com/), but since they are new and in high demand, they are "allocated." That basically means you need to get on a waiting list with your local gun dealer who uses Davidson's as a distributor.
One thing I didn't mention is how low the bore axis is. Your palm actually comes up higher than the barrel, so I would assume that the recoil impulse is very much straight back and into your hand and arm, which should really minimize any muzzle flip or upwards recoil impulse. We'll see if that holds true when I shoot it in a few days!

I wasn't sure if the FLEx (Fulcrum Located Extra swivel) would be worth it since I didn't intend to use it for a swivel mount, but I've found that the gas blocking is really noticeable. I may even use it for a sling swivel mount in 2-point config because it holds the rifle at more of an angle vs. closer to vertical with the stock rear sling mount location. I'm starting to actually like that more. The TMF (TAVOR Modular Forearm) is great. Fit and finish are awesome and it's a VERY solid mount for my flashlight. There are a couple other options on the market, but I believe this one has the strongest mounting area for the light by a decent margin. It's certainly working well for me thus far.
