We glimpse a staggering number of emails Hillary Clinton has refused to reveal to the public. It turns out she wasn’t the only one hiding something. Lee Camp covers the web of secrecy that surrounds these emails and other sickening revelations. Redacted Tonight

Lee Camp exposes the exploitation that holds the gig economy together. One-third of US citizens work within the gig economy and its practical impact is to increase the precarious situation of American workers. The system of gig employment guts many of the protections that people had come to expect from their jobs and that's exactly why the rich love it.
Also in this episode:
Lee Camp reports on Cornel West's decision to leave Harvard, billionaire Richard Branson's trip to space, the FBI's role in spreading terrorism, and more.
Anders Lee reports on Chicago's school system. Chicago's school system is in the pockets of the school privatization movement and the results haven't been positive for most students. There's now push back from the public who want to return their education system into the hands of a public school board.
Naomi Karavani sits down with Camp to discuss the Cuban protest movement being bolstered in US media.

The Bolivian election on Sunday, October 18 came a year after a US-backed coup kicked the first indigenous president of a majority-indigenous nation into exile. Evo Morale's Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) Party won with a majority of the votes. The coup was overturned.

Mike Papantonio, host of America’s Lawyer, joins Lee Camp to discuss the opioid crisis in America and how it’s largely manufactured by pharma corporations for profit. They also speak about Papantonio’s new book and his first novel, “Law and Vengeance.” The book tells the story of Nicholas Deketomis, born and raised in a poor neighborhood, who makes it out by winning lawsuits and thus billions in settlement money. Nicholas’s latest case has him involved with a powerful pharmaceutical company, and before he knows it he’s been framed for murder. The book is a great display of character development while also thoroughly researched and informative, which is unsurprising given Papantonio’s long record of exposing corruption in corporate legal cases as a trial lawyer.
Trump’s indefensible refusal to clearly denounce white nationalism after the attack in Charlottesville gave corporations, politicians, and media the opportunity for some breathtaking grandstanding. Many jumped to declare their disappointment in the President for refusing to stand against hatred. Even the Pentagon used this opportunity for some serious PR. They announced their clear opposition to racism and bigotry, while conveniently omitting the obvious fact that war IS hate. On ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Martha Raddatz called the US military the most diverse of our institutions. This may seem like a good quality of the military, but in fact it’s symptomatic of the lack of economic opportunity in our country. It’s a symptom of the fact that people of color are disproportionately poor, and thus disproportionately desperate enough to do what’s necessary to support their families. Additionally, the “volunteer only” policy of the US military is actually a policy of coerced enrollment, both overtly by disproportionately preying on lower income schools, and inadvertently through economic incentives; this is not something of which we should be proud. Joining the military and perpetuating endless interventionist wars and the mass murder of civilians should not be the only way for citizens to gain access to healthcare or a living wage.
