The latest update completely changed the ship classes in the game, some got roles swapped, stats changed, or even moved up Tiers. Modules are now much more specific to a spacecraft's role so that you can't even fit tactical modules on a ship unless it matches the ship's role. A lot of new modules were added, some were removed, everyone now has to refit their ships.
There are definitly upsides to this patch, unlike the previous one where nothing good came of it.
NASA makes data available from the international space station, which means that when Nauka took the rest of the station for a spin we had telemetry. A few people have tried to produce visualizations of the spin, but I think many of these are wrong because they're trying to translate the rotations using Euler angles which run into singularities near the poles, and the spin carried them close to these regions.
The correct data source would be quaternions which don't suffer from singularities, and are available from ISS data sources.

Jebediah returns to Kerbin with all the science gathered during the Dres flyby, the outland team does some more crater hopping and the R&D boys develop a way to capture and contain antimatter.

After 1.0.5 upgrade happened by accident (long story) I've finally got a mostly working install with just a few small issues. We're setting new records on crewed flight, going higher and faster, and getting paid for it.

Seconds before the launch of a Saturn V we hear the launch commentator calling out 'Ignition Sequence Start'. The ignition sequence is a complicated series of steps which spin the engine up to speed and light the combustion chamber so that the rocket lifts off rather than explodes.

It's a question I get asked a lot, what mods do I recommend, so I came up with ah list of core mods that improve the game. Almost all of these add core functionality that's useful to everyone.

A-OK Wings Of Mercury bills itself as an educational recreation of the Mercury missions allowing you to flip all the cockpit switches to your hearts content, or at least until you kill your virtual pilot. This is just the demo which lets you perform sub orbital flights on the Redstone booster, but the full version includes the Atlas launcher, orbital missions and the ability to network multiple players who can play mission control.
It's produced by by Apogee Development and is available from their site:

The Mercury Capsule mock up is one of the exhibits at the Chabot Space Science Center - it is a 1:1 copy, although many parents on the fiel trip though it was 'kid sized'.

This interesting little game came with my Humble Month Subscription, and I love it - with it's flat art style, funny writing and references to 2001 A Space Odyssey it's a perfect 30 minute game.

After some research it has been determined that there are fundamental geometric problems with fitting the Power relay hardware into the cargo bays. Visually it works, but R&D has determined there's some mystical force that extends beyond the visual extent of the parts. So instead we're going to launch this network via a more mundane mechanism.
Eagle eyed viewers will note that there was a change at the back of the plane between fueling and takeoff - essentially the game crashed after I launched to space the first time and I lost my save, so I had to put the plane back on the runway to record it again. The refueling procedure takes a long time so I skipped around that with some savefile editing.

Dante Lauretta has been working on the OSIRIS REx mission for the better part of 2 decades, all the way from the early proposal, through the design of mission, target selection and the experimentation with the sample acquisition process. Even after launch there are new problems they've had to solve to support the plan of returning a substantial sample of a primitive asteroid and return it to Earth.
Most of the asteroid images in this video are from the mission website: https://www.asteroidmission.org/
And, on top of that he has a hobby of designing board games too, he's currently running a crowdfunding campaign to support the development of an updated version of Xtronaut
