Tonight during the market recap we were surprised with a Tariff Tweet that sent the market to new highs. Now China is not only putting in exemptions for some US companies, but also increasing QE. Which should move the US markets higher. Also with Draghi to soon retire as the ECB chair he is setting a dovish tone for the EU. With trade talks falling apart and traiffs on the rise it is sending the market lower. The trend in XLU still looks strong as funds are moving to a defensive space. This week there are a lot of Fed speakers and Powell closing out the week on Firday. Becareful of those as they could move markets. Trades that I am watching are a break out or down in USO, XOM and CVX. Also a retrace of GLD and TLT for a potential short entry. Trade safe as we are still on the Sunday-Wednesday- Friday trade war cycle.

This week a lot of powerful bankers will be at the Jackson Hole event, so keep a watch on the market after the event concludes. The market is expecting a rate cut, but I have to ask the question.
