Subscribe to the channel at https://goo.gl/VjHw6T Donald Trump is currently in the process of forcing another right-wing Supreme Court Justice on the American people in the hopes of saddling us with a regressive, radical conservative interpretation of the law for generations.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh is wrong for the United States, and he shouldn’t be considered in the first place given the fact that the president who nominated him is currently under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, an investigation that could reveal that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election and is thus an illegitimate president.
Now, another reason to pump the brakes on Kavanaugh has emerged. Buzzfeed News reports that Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have referred a secret letter about Kavanaugh to the FBI.
Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the committee, has refused to reveal the contents thus far. Feinstein originally received the mysterious information from Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA).
“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities,” Feinstein said in a statement.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Monday took to cable news to offer another forceful defense against allegations of sexual assault from his time in high school and college that are imperiling his odds of ascending to the Supreme Court.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Kavanaugh, accompanied by his wife, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, told Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum in a pre-recorded interview.
“I’m not going to let false accusations drive us out of this process, and we’re looking for a fair process where I can be heard and defend my integrity, my lifelong record,” he added. “My lifelong record of promoting dignity and equality for women, starting with the women who knew me when I was 14 years old.”
The broadcast marks the most extraordinary escalation yet of the full-court press by the White House and congressional Republicans to salvage Kavanaugh’s nomination. He is already set to testify before senators later this week on the allegations.

The current administration has been dealing with an excessive amount of drama and political controversy in the last few weeks. Especially in light of everything that has been going on in court as it pertains to Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen, former Trump campaign officials and Trump employees. However, President Trump and First Lady Melania are taking some time away from it all to work with small children and local hospitals on their philanthropic and healthcare initiatives. The Daily Mail reported, “Donald Trump escaped his troubles in Washington during a visit to a children’s hospital in Ohio with Melania, as special counsel Robert Mueller’s net closes in. The president and first lady put on a united front Friday following the most challenging week of Trump’s presidency. The Trumps toured the neonatal intensive care unit of an Ohio children’s hospital that treats babies affected by the opioid epidemic. The opioid crisis, which claims the lives of tens of thousands of people a year, has been a key focus for Trump. #POLITICSNEWS #FOX365 #breakingnewstoday #FEATUREDNEWS #usanewstoday #latestnewstoday #DonaldTrump#USAmorningnews #trump

Subscribe to the channel at https://goo.gl/VjHw6T For months, Puerto Rico officials blamed the Trump administration for the response to last year’s Hurricane Maria, but a shocking discovery is calling the local response into question.
It appears a massive shipment of FEMA bottled water was left to rot on a Puerto Rico runway for nearly nine months. FEMA says the Puerto Rican government dropped the ball, while Puerto Rico blames FEMA, as residents are left wondering why the water was never used.
Reports say as many as 20,000 pallets of water sat unused, with the number of actual water bottles varying widely between reports. CBS believes it is in the tens of thousands, while CNN reported it could potentially be millions of bottles.
FEMA says once the water arrived in Puerto Rico in January, it became the property and responsibility of local officials. Puerto Rico claims FEMA regulations did not authorize its use until April.
The revelation of the unused water, which is still sitting on a runway tarmac in Puerto Rico, comes as President Donald Trump says the government’s response to the hurricane was an “unsung success.”

That’s exactly what Rep. Goodlatte is doing, in regards to out of control activist judges, who are using heir judicial power to run defense for the anti-Trump #Resist movement.
Goodlatte is introducing legislation which would stop federal courts from issuing “sweeping orders” that block enforcement of federal policies.
Washington Examiner
Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., has introduced legislation that would stop federal courts from issuing sweeping orders that block the enforcement of federal policies across the country directed by both Republicans and Democrats.

The warships are leaving Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia after the Navy issued a “sortie code alpha” earlier this week. Sortie code alpha is the Navy’s way of telling its ships to get out of Dodge, immediately.
Footage of the behemoth warships lumbering out of port was uploaded to the Navy’s YouTube channel.
Although a few ships were stuck in port due to maintenance issues, they will be safeguarded by extra precautions according to a release by the Navy.

When Gül Dölen first gave ecstasy to octopuses, she didn’t know what to expect.
Dölen is a neuroscientist at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine who studies how the cells and chemicals in animal brains influence animals’ social lives. Ecstasy, also known as MDMA, interests her because it’s known to make people feel more sociable, more interested in others, and less defensive. The same effects also occur in rats and mice—the animals that Dölen usually studies.
But octopuses are very different creatures. They’re clearly intelligent and their behavior is undoubtedly sophisticated, but their brains have a completely different architecture than those of mammals—for one thing, they’re shaped like donuts. “It’s organized much more like a snail’s brain than ours,” Dölen says. With such a dissimilar anatomy, she wondered whether these animals would respond to drugs in unpredictable ways. And to find out, she needed a way of assessing how sociable an octopus is.
She and her colleague Eric Edsinger put five Californian two-spot octopuses individually into the middle of three connected chambers and gave them free rein to explore. One of the adjacent chambers housed a second octopus, confined inside an overturned plastic basket. The other contained an unfamiliar object, such as a plastic flower or a Chewbacca figurine. Dölen and Edsinger measured how long the main animal spent in the company of its peer, and how long with the random toy.
This is exactly the kind of setup that neuroscientists use to test social behavior in mice, but Dölen had no idea whether it would work with octopuses. “It might be that they are so smart that the kind of task we’d use for a mouse would be boring to them,” she says. “Maybe they’d take one lap around the chambers and stop.” Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. The free-moving individuals thoroughly explored the chambers, and from their movements, Dölen realized that individuals of any sex gravitate toward females, but avoid males.

SAN FRANCISCO — Just days after taking a victory lap for successfully shepherding a landmark bill to beef up sexual harassment investigations in the California legislature, two leading female Democratic legislators in the #MeToo movement wrote generous political checks to their Democratic colleague, Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia — the subject of an ongoing sexual harassment investigation.
Assemblywoman Laura Friedman, chair of the Joint Legislative Subcommittee on Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response, and state Senator Holly Mitchell, the committee’s vice-chair, each donated $2,500 each to Garcia’s reelection campaign last week within two days of Gov. Jerry Brown‘s signing of a law they had pushed calling for the establishment of new investigative procedures for harassment victims, according to records on file with the CA secretary of state’s office.

Having survived everything already thrown at him both before and during his confirmation hearings, Judge Brett Kavanaugh seemed set for a confirmation vote as the next justice of the Supreme Court this week … until California Sen. Dianne Feinstein dropped an anonymous allegation of sexual misconduct against the judge last week about an incident that was purported to have occurred more than 35 years ago.
Kavanaugh’s accuser — Christine Blasey Ford — came forward publicly over the weekend to make her claim, and while there is plenty that could be debated with regard to the credibility — or lack thereof — of the accusations lodged by the liberal anti-Trump college professor, let’s instead take a look at the anti-Trump liberal attorney she hired to represent her.
According to Townhall, that attorney is Washington, D.C., lawyer Debra Katz, a prominent and vocal supporter of left-wing causes and institutions with a history of dismissing allegations of sexual improprieties lodged against liberal politicians, as well as making debasing and demeaning smears against members of President Donald Trump’s administration.
In March 2017, according to Townhall, Katz stated in a Facebook post that Trump’s advisers were “miscreants” — people who behave badly or criminally — and said, “The term ‘basket of deplorables’ is far too generous a description for these people who are now Senior Trump advisors.” (Townhall’s piece contained a screen shot of the purported Facebook post but no link.)
According to Townhall, which cited the Open Secrets campaign donation site, Katz has also donated no less than $26,000 to Democrat politicians since 2004, including former Sen. John Kerry, former President Barack Obama and failed candidate Hillary Clinton.
