Watching Brief - Muppet: Facebook Censors 30,000 year old Art as 'Pornographic'! - Feb 2018
Welcome to Watching Brief. A monthly show available via podcast and as topical segments via YouTube. As the name implies, each month my co-host Andy Brockman of the Pipeline (Where history is tomorrow's news) and I cast an eye over news stories, topical media and entertainment and discuss and debate what we find.

Facebook censors 30,000 year-old Venus of Willendorf as 'pornographic':
Janet Montgomery's doctoral thesis awarded in 2002 (available to download from the AHDS website: http://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/archives/view/montgomery_2005/) was the first study to apply combined radiogenic lead and strontium isotope analysis to British archaeological humans.

Welcome to the A-Z of Archaeology! In this series we take a look at the world of Archaeology, employing the alphabet as our guide.
This is a Special Edition re-release of the A-Z of Archaeology, part of a year of celebration for 10 years of Archaeosoup Productions!
Where possible, audio quality has been improved and made louder & occasionally visuals have been improved. However I don't want to 'George Lucas' this series and fundamentally alter it... Enjoy.
