Review of The Story Goes On (XB1 Gameplay)
The Story Goes On from Kiss Ltd, is a top down dungeon crawler hack and slash.
The graphics are pretty descent, audio is good, and the gameplay is solid.
This is one of those games where permadeath can make you either rage quit or say to yourself "just one more try".
I got to the second dungeon and ended up rage quitting because to go that far just to start over from the beginning, can be an unnecessary challenge.
The game needs a checkpoint system, save system, or something that aids the player through the game.
Not to say this is a bad game or that I didn't enjoy it, because it is great and a lot of fun, it would just benefit from some kind of system as mentioned above.
