This year our 2-day celebration will occur in Capitol Heights, MD. This year's theme is "Nzingha Returns: The Return of the Black Woman." Saturday's featured speaker, all the way from Nairobi, Kenya, will be none other than than the world-renowned international independent journalist Dr. Mumbi Seraki. And Sunday's featured speaker is a member of the original Black Panther Party and nationally recognized Ph.D professor specializing in Black women's contribution to the Afrikan world freedom struggle, Dr. Regina Jennings. We are going to show the world how real Black women look when our Race is confronted with difficulties. These (2) Sisters will set the pace for Black womens' contribution to our racial survival and progress in the 21st Century and beyond. This 2-day extravaganza will also feature the world-renowned Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble out of Camden, NJ, Ka'Ba Soulsinger, the Afrikan Insurrektion Muzik (A.I.M.) group United Front, and SBPM speakers Brother Conrad & Irritated Genie.
