Kerbal Space Program - Interstellar Quest - Episode 75 - Leaving Duna
Sean & Archibald begin their long journey home, but after the discovery of the face it's been decided that there will be extra decontamination requirements. The Ramius Mk III takes flight and further expands the antimatter farm, unfortunately I completely forgot to test the air brakes while in the air. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-Qvj97_mUg
How exactly do you divert the course of an asteroid which is going to hit Earth? I talked about the gravity tractor concept last week and I felt I needed to go into more detail because a number of people like to point out the problems without thinking about the solutions.
If you want to help 'save the world' from the impact hazard I suggest checking out the B612 Foundation https://b612foundation.org/
Here's my previous video on why 'nuking an asteroid into space dust' is a bad idea:

Japan's space program is hugely capable, they've provided one of the most important parts of the ISS, were the first to return samples from an asteroid, recently they've landed on the moon and debuted the new H-3 rocket.
But their biggest launch vehicle is a direct descendent of the American Thor/Delta rocket and while Delta is soon to be retired, Japan's H-3 has a long history ahead of it.

While Disney is talking up the new Star Wars merchandise for 'Force Friday' let's rewind to 1994 and look at what is arguably the best Star Wars game - TIE Fighter. A game for the PC which didn't shy away from escort missions which are often derided in modern games. It still stands up well today, and honestly the games deserve a proper remake.

If you grew up dreaming of giant robot battles then Megabots have made it their goal to to make those dreams a reality. They've built a 15' (5m) tall fighting robot and challenged their Japanese counterparts to a duel. There's going to be a lot of national pride riding on the outcome of this battle, and Team USA is raising money for weapon upgrades via kickstarter. Even if you're a not american, there's straight up Nerd Nation pride here, we want mech battles to be a real thing!

Rogue Earth, The developers of Eterium asked me to take a look at their current project, a space combat sim that pays homage to the original Wing Commander albeit with proper 3d graphics and more anime influenced character art.
This is the demo you can download from http://rogueearth.com/Demo
And the developers are attempting to extend their funding by currently running a kickstarter

It's also available for voting on Steam Greenlight is that's your thing.

Because dozens of people requested it, here's my take on Spacebase DF-9's abrupt transition into 1.0 status with lots of promised features dropped. Despite being the best funded of the 'Dwarf Fortress In Space' games (see also Rimworld & Maia) the developers have not been able to make development pay for itself over sustained periods.
Not happy with this situation at any level.

It's often stated that there is no sound in the vacuum of space, but it's more correct to state that there's no sounds that humans can hear in the vacuum of space, the atmospheric density never goes to zero and so sound waves can still be carried through the vacuum by pressure waves. The ultra low density gas only allows very long wavelengths to propagate, and some astronomical phenomena produce notes so low that they'd be measured in femtohertz.
