The FDA Vaccine Advisory Committee had a meeting on 26th October 2021 and voted unanimously (17-0) in favour of EUA authorisation for the Covid Pfizer vaccine for children 5-11 years old, as reported here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-59044853 Final approval is expected by the CDC on 2 November.
