Watch Mads play the old Sierra adventure game "The Colonel's Bequest" on a stream with Phoenix_Z80 and RetroClarence. Fair warning, we are not very good at it :-)
All recorded from real hardware of course - the game was running on DOS 6.22 on a Pentium 75 with a SoundBlaster sound card.

A few weeks ago we asked our listeners what games they would like us to review on the show. A list was made and we pulled 4 of those titles out of a hat.
So Matt Wilsher, Mads Kristensen & Dean Swain play and review P.C Fuzz for the Commodore 64, Turtles 2 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Apidya for the Commodore Amiga and finally Road Rash 2 on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis.
Will Dean get over his phobia of wasps whilst playing Apidya? Can Matt get his head around frame rate of Road Rash 2 and will Mads confess to recording podcasts whilst naked?
All is revealed in episode 148 of Retro Asylum!

Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast is considered to be one of the greatest games ever to grace SEGA's last foray into hardware consoles. Released in 2000, a year before the rug was pulled out from under the Dreamcast, Crazy Taxi took a somewhat benign concept of collection taxi fares and driving around a city by adding a dollop of lunacy to the proceedings. There is no music in this video as all of it is licensed and if it was placed onto YouTube a copyright flag would have been slapped onto the video. Yes, even The Offspring have IP rights....*sigh*

In 1992 Infogrames gave birth to the survival horror adventure game in the form of Alone in the Dark. This was a very difficult and disturbing title that had the player explore a haunted house that was plagued by demons and zombies.
Chris O'Regan, one of the co-hosts of the Retro Asylum podcast plays through the first portion of Alone in the Dark from his Windows 95 PC. This video is an archive from a stream that was originally aired via Switch on 9th July 2017.
