Dean Swain takes a quick look at this technically impressive (for its time) arcade shoot em up that was very popular in Japan but failed to make much of an impact around the rest of the world. In fact, due to the popularity of Namco's Galaga which was also released around the same time, many of the Bosconian cabinets that were not sold were converted into Galaga cabinets.

Just a video of some physical print outs of some of the free Retro Asylum digital books we have been giving last year. It is really interesting (to me at least) how thick some of these books are when you print them out.
If you want any of the books, then all you have to do is either go on to our website or join our free club, by email club@retroasylum.com and the free first quarterly magazine Annual will give a link to all the digital books to download, and the non marked up Lulu links should you wish to print them off for yourself.

One of the most celebrated games in the early 1990's was Syndicate. A tactical adventure game where players took on the role of a leader of a organised crime syndicate that sought to take over the world by deploying cybernetic enhanced super agents into various cities across the world and destroying lots of things in the process.
This episode of Games of Praise celebrates Syndicate by streaming the footage from a genuine Amiga A1200 while playing the first few missions of Syndicate.
This video is an archive of a stream that was aired on 5th August 2018.
