A standard part of our set list (when we used to be able to do gigs.) It's a favorite and a ton o' fun to play through.

Today's very special podcast includes James Corbett as always and Matt Williamson from 'Pop Goes The Sixties,' a great channel exploring the flowering of music in the 1960's, giving the credit it so sorely needs. Our talk is about the mindset of Beatles fans in general. After which we go into Cancel Culture and how it may affect how the Beatles are viewed in future times.

? ????????? ???? (originally O Tannenbaum) is a German Christmas song. Based on a traditional folk song which was unrelated to Christmas, it became associated with the traditional Christmas tree by the middle of the 19th century and sung as a Christmas carol. The original lyrics do not actually refer to Christmas, or describe a decorated Christmas tree. Instead, they refer to the fir's evergreen quality as a symbol of constancy and faithfulness. The custom of the Christmas tree developed in the course of the 19th century, and the song came to be seen as a Christmas carol.
