The current state of WordPress is wild. I have fully immersed myself into the WordPress community over the past 6 months. It's been both fun and exhausting. WordPress.org is developing a lot of new features into the core platform, which is great. Everyone wants to see it continue to evolve. At the same time, however, the target audience of the native Gutenberg building experience is seemingly unknown. - The current user interface is streamlined, yet unintuitive. - Intermediate functionality requires deeper programming knowledge - It's lacks in clean, semantic code output compared to other builders Is the goal for it to be a replacement to 3rd-party page builders? Or is it always going to be just a content editor? Logically, it seems like the former, but no one has been able to say. The specific answer isn't nearly as important as having an answer. Only time will tell, I suppose!
