We have just hatched out some of our first home hatched chickens. The birds we have are as follows...
All are bred to a Rhode Island Rooster
5 Are from a Tetra Tint Hen, a Tetra Tint is half Rhode Island Red and Half White Leghorn so these would be 2/3rd Rhode Island and 1/3rd White Leghorn at this point. They are the mostly white ones.
The other six are from some Rhode Island Red Hens, some Freedom Ranger Hens and Some Red Sexlink Hens.
The ducks to our best guess are 4 each of
Rouen
Pekin
And Kahki Camble
Ducks were all bought at Tractor Supply.
The goose is a Toulouse and we hatched him from an egg laid by one of our geese. We have only successfully hatched one goose so far.
