This is an epic film that chronicles my 3,000-mile trek along the backbone of America on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. The trail would take me from the scorching desert to elevations over 14,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains and into Glacier National Park on the Canadian Border. On my journey I experienced injuries, death, rough weather, and equipment failures. Along the trail I ran across a countless number of people and wildlife that would inspire me to complete my journey.
I bring this story to you in hope that one day you will find the time to experience the "BACKBONE" of our country, the Continental Divide Trail.

In this episode, I leave Londonderry and head west to Chillicothe and stealth camp behind a bar. I give a homeless man some money to eat, and visit Serpent Mount before staying with a friend in Hillsboro, OH.

Jesse and I headed out to the Appalachian Trail to social distance during the start of the pandemic.
We knew we wouldn’t make it to Bland, VA., but we were going to try.
We made it to Franklin, NC when we were informed by “Ms. Janet “ (Trail Angel) that we had made it as far as possible and that traveling home was nearly impossible and that leaving at that moment was the only hope. She was correct, I barely made it on a plane and then only to a friends.
I finally mage it home after two weeks. It was a great time!

I bikepack on my fat bike to the Spanish Peaks in Southeast Colorado. I have to get a hitch over to avoid lightning and hail. I then bikepack through the Valley and fat bike over the La Manga and Cumbress Pass.
I'm feeling tired and under the weather in this episode, I hope you understand.

I run into a goat herder as I left Redding. I camped with the herd till early the next morning when I pedaled west on highway 299 toward the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. I had lunch overlooking Whiskytown Lake then pedaled to the Weaverville. I camped at the Junction City Campground as they started to issue evacuation orders for a few local towns. I woke up and pushed west trying to get ahead of the fires. I stopped at the Strawhouse Resort for coffee then pedaled on to the Six River National Forest. The fires were just outside of town in Willow Creek and smoke filled the area where I found a place to camp on Berry Summit.
