Online Privacy: How To Stay Safe Online
Let's talk about Online Privacy! So, I see a lot of people bragging about online privacy and totally freaking out about that topic. I've seen and read a lot of different things about that.
So, I have received this question from a fan of Simple Programmer, asking me what do I do to protect my address online, especially since I have become public like that, creating a YouTube channel and everything.
People are really concerned about people discovering their addresses and they are really trying everything out to protect their identities. Bottom line is: if someone wants to track you down and kill you, they will. No matter how much you protect yourself and try to hide your address and everything else.
So, what are the best practices for protecting your address online? Watch this video and find out!
So, first of all, as I've said, online privacy is not-so-important at all

Cardio Vs. HIIT: Revisited
A while back, I did a video on Cardio vs. HIIT and how I perceived HIIT to be a very bad practice when it comes to burning fat and how cardio was a better option for that.
However, things have changed, I must admit.
Recently I've been experimenting with HIIT and I've seen some AMAZING results, and this is exactly what I decided to share here with you.
This is Cardio vs. HIIT Revisited.

Most of it can have psychological root causes such as low self esteem and lack of confidence which would be impossible to cover here.
But... What if conflict was indeed good? What if, in this case, you should not avoid getting into a conflict? Can conflict be good in some situations?

Depression Among Software Developers (With Maryse Gauthier)
We need to talk about... Depression.
I've talked about this topic several times before, especially in SP's blog and a lot of guest writers have talked about this too.
Depression among developers (and tech professionals) is a serious thing and it should not be repressed. We really need to talk about that.
As you know, I have some strong and different views about this that a lot of people complain and tell me how I'm wrong. This is why I decided to talk to Maryse, which is a member of our FB group and has suffered a lot from it, but has managed to turn her life around.
How? This is exactly what we're going to discuss in this video.

John, I HATE You!
So, this is a quick video, but I just wanted to show you a real quick email I got and how it changed the way people perceive my content.
If you want to read the entire email, here it is:
John Sonmez,
I want to say a big "Fuck you John". I want to be upset with you for not being more direct about things. I want to be angry because you don't just tell us the answer. But, because of the fact that I get it now and can understand why you do what you do, I can't be angry - despite that I want to be.
Life IS a game.
In school our teachers tell us "Kids, life isn't a game and shouldn't be wasted" or some form of that. The truth it only half of that is correct. It shouldn't be wasted, but that doesn't mean it isn't a game.
It is a game of social interaction. It is a game of business mechanics. In business it is a game of who can outsmart the other. When it comes to your own company it is a game of how you can influence someone else to use their knowledge to willingly accomplish things. But at the end of the day, Every. Single. Thing. We. Do. Is all just a game.
I see why you teach the way you do. Had I never connected the dots for myself, I never would have had that "click" moment where everything just made sense. It is like watching a play from behind the curtain and understanding why everyone makes the moves that they do.
I can see that you are just guiding people along to figure out how to connect those dots themselves rather than just telling them it is a game. You are probably going to get a lot of pissed off people in the future John. You might already have.
So, while I want to be angry and say "Fuck you John", I can't. I can't because of how powerful this realization has been. It took myself 3 months of deep thought and meditation on the concept of life being a game - a game that should be taken 110% completely serious - before I fully understood it.
Now that I understand it, I am ready to go deeper. I am ready to find my path. I will find a way to master it. Although, I do believe mastering it - to the point of perfection - will always be impossible. Even if I was to learn more than every human that has ever lived before me, there is still more to learn. I believe this is what drives the Bill Gates, the Steve Jobs, and the Mark Zuckerbergs to not stop at 1 billion dollars. It drives them to continue learning and advancing because the game can never be beat, but why not stay on top?
John, I want to become your apprentice. As far as I am concerned, if you are willing to be a personal mentor to me, it can be completely private. I understand your time is valuable and I understand that if one person got that kind of treatment everyone would want that kind of treatment. I always knew you had knowledge to offer, and the material you share certainly holds a massive amount of value, but I need to dive into a deeper understanding, and I while I don't necessarily need your help to do it, it would give me a tremendous advantage that 99.9%+ of the population probably doesn't get to experience. I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that it would not be an effort wasted on your part. I am willing to go down whatever path you believe is necessary for me to learn.
Thank You. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart. Whether you agree to my request or not, I owe you an unlimited amount of gratitude for helping me figure this out.
Forever changed,"
Nothing more here.
Take care,

Tools For Minimizing Coding Effort
Coding can be hard and take a lot of time. Building a product, software or app from scratch is definitely a very hard task and it takes a LOT of time. You need to get through all the process of writing the code, imagining the structure, debugging, etc.
Of course, this isn't a problem if you were hired to do this. However, this can turn out to be a real pain in the ass if you're an entrepreneur or manager of any kind.
In these positions, you need to understand that it is not your job to do coding anymore but to manage and make money. So, what should you do in these cases?
What tools should you use to minimize coding efforts in order to focus on what really matters?
