Jess explains how to read the numbers on a car or truck tire sidewall. Each number and letter specifies the size and type of tire. It is important to know this when considering buying new tires. Not all tires are equal in quality and size.

Question: @opie7afe - i've come to the point where i am confused with all the different types of primer, i'm working on painting the whole front end of my car which is a single stage white toyota, and planning on sticking with some urethane single stage paint. however the panels i am painting have factory paint (one is base/clear other is single stage. both parts will have some bare metal showing so i'm stuck on what primer to get, hoping i can get away with just one type of primer..please enlighten me! thanks!
If you are wanting one primer, the direct to metal may be the way to go. Check with your paint jobber to see if they carry one.

We're doing some #fiberglass repair on the jet boat and we'll show you the steps we took. The seat mounting locations on the #boat were weak. The mounting location was built with wood and a thin layer of fiberglass was applied over the wood. The wood and fiberglass together made a strong surface. However, through the years the wood rotted and lost the strength the wood provided. I did not want to start completely over and remove the fiberglass and build the wood frame, so I decided to beef the mounting location up using only fiberglass to for it’s strength. I don’t know if this is the recommended procedure to do this, but it’s what I decided to do.
In the video I will demonstrate the steps I took to repair the boat floor.
Repairing a damaged auto part will use a similar approach, but the focus will only be on the damaged area…not building additional strength to the part. Therefore, a damaged car part will not require as much of the fiberglass or resin.
Below are the products I ordered and used.
Fiberglass Mat - http://amzn.to/2skyJvp
Fiberglass Resin - http://amzn.to/2rwxAD9
Fiberglass Roller - http://amzn.to/2rwTI0a
WARNING ABOUT FIBERGLASS
Before we start the repair process, I would like to caution you of the health hazards when working with fiberglass. When fiberglass is sanded, the fiberglass dust becomes airborne, which can end up in your lungs. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) should alway be worn when sanding. Fiberglass brings additional things to consider. If you breath fiberglass particles in, it can cause health problems. If the fiberglass particles get on your skin, it can irritate your skin and cause you to itch or may even cause a rash.
