Here's how I straightened out the Skipper's nose by dipping it in boiling hot water. The shape naturally returns to the original molded shape, and a bit of massaging got it almost like new. You can also see the "lizard skin" effect where the foam beads turn bumpy.

Started off with CG well back, causing high alpha. Final trim is "free flight" mode, with hands-off piloting. That's how the old-school rubber-powered planes would bet set up.
