The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) - Hero Mode 100% - Part 5: Color Dungeon
After getting a taste for the new Chamber Dungeon creator that will hopefully spin off into its own Zelda Maker game, Link now heads into the secret Color Dungeon and enhances his power! A few things to note about this dungeon:
1. There's a book in the Mabe Village library about how to access it that can only be read by knocking the book down with the Pegasus Boots from level 3, but you don't have to read it in order to open it. You just need to have the code memorized.
2. If BowWow is still following you after level 2, the last gravestone won't budge and you'll get a message saying you must attempt this trial alone.
3. Once you complete the dungeon and get your enhancement, you can head back into the dungeon and warp back to the boss room and talk to the fairy again if you want the other enhancement. You can go back and switch back and forth any time.

This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm playing an SNES puzzle battle game that I've played before under a different name. Welcome to Kirby's Avalanche! This game is basically a dolled-up installment of the Puyo Puyo puzzle game series with Kirby characters. I've played Puyo Puyo on this channel before as one half of the Puyo Puyo Tetris games, but the Puyo challenges in those games didn't really provide much of a challenge, since even a Puyo beginner at the time like myself could three-star them without many problems. But this game will really stretch your Puyo skills to their limit, especially when playing on the hardest difficulty setting like I am in this playthrough!

After emerging from the Dark Player Cave onto the summit of Battle Mountain, it's now time to begin the ultimate challenges this game has to offer. Let's see if I can do these with all challenges enabled! Next up is the Miniboss Rush, with all minibosses and optional legacy bosses in the game. The first 5 bosses weren't so bad, but then came the Cosmic Monoliths. The enemy gets the first turn each wave when all challenges are on, and they immediately used that turn to buff their already-insane evasion to the max, making my attempts to syphon them ineffective. And then came the Zombie Hydra. Another challenge in effect here is not being able to see the enemies' current HP, which makes it more difficult to gauge which of the four heads has suffered how much damage, which in this case led to the Zombie Hydra's gimmick of resurrecting its dead heads unless you kill them all at once taking full effect...
