Mmmm, Cinnamon Buns, or Cinnamon Rolls, however you call them, they're amazing. Ooey, gooey and cinnamoney... yes, that's a word now. My recipe is quick, takes very little actual work, and they are ready in just a couple hours including proofing time! You know you want cinnamon rolls, go ahead.... give it a try!
Ingredients:
2 1/3 cups (300 grams) Flour
1/2 cup (120 grams) Whole Milk
1 teaspoon (6 grams) Salt
2 Tablespoons (50 grams) Melted Butter
1/4 cup (50 grams) Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon (3 grams) Instant Dry Yeast
1/2 teaspoon (2 grams) Vanilla Extract
Filling:
3 tablespoons (75 grams) Softened Butter
1 1/2 tablespoons (11 grams) Ground Cinnamon
1/4 cup (50 grams) Sugar (either white or brown)
2 tablespoons (42 grams) Honey
Icing:
1/2 cup (62 grams) Confectioner's Sugar
1/2 teaspoon (2 grams) Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon (15 grams) Milk
