Still Report #1095 - Daybreak Poll Trump Turns it Around
Donald Trump’s 7-day slide in the USC Daybreak Poll made a convincing turn-around yesterday. After coming within 1/10th of a percentage point one week ago of a 95% certainty of victory, Trump started a post -Democratic–National-Convention slide that ended yesterday. Now, Trump trails Clinton by a .6% margin nationally – less than a point. Confirmation of this trend exists in two other major areas. First of all, although I have seen no formal figures – though I’m sure some must exist – Trump’s in-person crowds are crushing Clinton’s by a factor of between 10 to 1 – to 100 to 1. That’s putting bodies on the streets in the hottest part of the summertime. Skeptics of this metric say it doesn’t necessarily translate to votes, but cannot offer one shred of evidence to support that claim. However, Trumpers can offer two existing pieces of convincing evidence that they do correlate: 1. These huge crowds took Trump to the biggest primary wins in Republican history. Which is easier: Going out to vote takes just minutes. However Trumpers expend much more time and energy getting into a Trump rally. They know they must arrive 2 or 3 hours ahead of time and wait at least an hour in the hot sun before getting into the venue. The second major area of evidence of a huge Trump lead is in the online metrics, but I’ll get into that in another report later today. I still say, ignore the paid drumbeat of doom from the Clinton’s well-oiled and paid political machine. She cannot possibly win. I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on Obama.
On Oct. 1, 2016, President Obama will give away control of the Internet to a multi-national body, despite Congress having passed laws forbidding him to do so.
Conservative lawyer and activist Phyllis Schlafly blasted the Obama’s complete disregard for the legislative process, saying it:
“… could be the most dangerous use yet of Obama’s now-famous pen.”
Congress has twice passed legislation to prevent the move, forbidding the National Telecommunications and Information Administration – or NTIA - from relinquishing their responsibility to oversee:
“Internet domain name system functions, including responsibility with respect to the authoritative root zone file and the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority functions.”
Despite this legislation, Obama has set Oct. 1 as the date the transfer will irrevocably take place.
In a letter to congressional leaders of both parties, a coalition of Internet experts and organizations have urged Congress to take immediate action and sue the Obama administration to block the illegal transfer.
“If NTIA allows the contract to lapse, it will have violated federal law.
“Suing to enforce the [law] and extending it through FY2017 are amply justified by the extraordinary importance of the constitutional principles at stake.
“Members of both parties should be able to unite around defending the power of the purse, the most fundamental constitutional power of the American people’s elected representatives.”
The letter highlights the fact that the head of the Executive Branch cannot be allowed to override the direct laws issued by Congress.
“If enacted legislation is no longer considered binding, a fundamental check on executive power will have been lost.
“Legislators also have a solemn responsibility to future generations to ensure that the future of the Internet is not placed at risk by prematurely ending U.S. oversight. We urge you to act promptly.”
Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who chair the House and Senate Judiciary committees, respectively, declared their opposition for the transfer in June, citing unanswered legal, constitutional and human rights questions.
In other words, should control over the freedom of the Internet - which has been nurtured by its inventor, the United States - be put into the hands of nations who have no respect for freedom of speech or the press, or, as in the case of China, forbid their citizens from even having access to the Internet? Does this make any sense?
According to Phyllis Schlafly:
“Among the many deceitful arguments used by the globalists is that taking the Internet away from the U.S. will advance us toward a goal of ‘no government control of the Internet.’
“If the United States doesn’t keep control of what we invented, the Internet will end up under Chinese or U.N. control.”
I know there is a lot going on in everyone’s lives in these last 11 weeks before election day, but once the free Internet is lost, it’s lost forever. If Congress is going to bring suit, to stop the Obama Internet giveaway, it must act immediately.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.

Good morning, I’m still reporting on politics.
Rampant hypocrisy was on full display the first night of the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia, starting with the remarks by Michelle Obama.
[insert]
Then Tucker Carlson, who covered Day 1 of the convention stepped in with his uncompromisingly straight talk. Carlson, is the co-founder and editor in chief of “The Daily Caller” and probably the most promising rising news commentator in the nation.

I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
Good morning, I’m still reporting on Ted Cruz.
According to a poll taken by the CBS affiliate in Dallas, Texas in conjunction with Dixie Strategies, Sen. Ted Cruz has taken a big hit after refusing to honor his pledge to endorse Donald Trump after Trump generously gave him a prime speaking spot at the Republican convention and Cruz was booed off the stage.
Cruz is now viewed very unfavorably by a whopping 52% of 1,018 likely voters.
When asked: “Does Ted Cruz’s decision NOT to endorse Donald Trump change your opinion of him?”
Over 50% of the very conservative voters either viewed him somewhat less favorably or much less favorably. 58% of those describing themselves as somewhat Conservative felt the same way. Interestingly, 48% of the self-described moderates felt the same as did 57% of the liberal potential crossover voters.
Cruz is now running neck and neck with Democratic House member, Joaquin Castro – the probably Democrat opponent in the upcoming 2018 re-election race - beating him by only .2% with a whopping 23% undecided.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.

In Still Report #648 – Trump Crushes in Nevada, I predicted the following:
[insert]
Then I went on and speculated that you might see this mafia piece on CBS’s “60 Minutes” tonight. Well, I’ve checked the schedule, and unless they pull it as a big surprise, it’s not scheduled.
However, there was one person who decided to go with the smear story today:
[insert Cruz]
Poor, desperate Ted Cruz. All those Goldman-Sachs dollars – not to mention their grand plans for a North American Union going up in smoke on Tuesday.
But this will no doubt come up again – and probably before Cruz and Rubio finally are defeated, so let’s see what’s behind it:
About 30 years ago, when Donald Trump was still early on in his New York construction career, many unions were dominated by the New York Mafia. It was impossible to do a major job profitably without using one of them somewhere.
A CNN Politics article fro July 31 of last year quoted Wayne Barrett, author of the 1992 unauthorized biography "Trump: The Deals and the Downfall."
“To be sure, organized crime had ties to the New York and New Jersey construction industry in the 1980's and early 1990's, making contact between developers and mafia-controlled companies almost unavoidable at times.”
"There was a certain amount of mob association during which the father and he were building, which was very difficult to avoid in the New York construction world."
Barrett noted that he built the Trump Tower out of concrete, instead of steel, at a time when the mafia controlled much the concrete industry.
"…dealing with the concrete cartel was inevitable for any developer in the period when Trump Tower was built….”
The Washington Post thought they would take a look at this story also and published their findings on Oct. 16, 2015.
“[Donald Trump” was never accused of illegality, and observers of the time say that working with the mob-related figures and politicos came with the territory.”
Law enforcement has examined Trump several times over the years and he’s always come up clean.
According to the Washington Post article, in 1990, officials with the New York State Organized Crime Task Force produced a report entitled “Corruption and Racketeering in the New York City Construction Industry.” It noted that it would be nearly impossible to manage large construction projects in New York City without dealing with the mob in some way:
“Perhaps those with strong moral qualms were long ago driven from the industry; it would have been difficult for them to have survived. ‘One has to go along to get along.’ ”
James B. Jacobs, a law professor at New York University, and the report’s principal author, told The Post that Trump and other major developers at the time “had to adapt to that environment” or do business in another city.
“That’s not illegal, but you might say it’s not a beautiful thing. It was a very sick system.”
So if the forces of evil want to try to stir up this pot, bring ‘em on. You can Google the articles for yourself and come to your own conclusions, but be ready to fend off these charges with just these few, salient and reliably-quoted facts.
I’m Still reporting from Washington. Good day.
Last night, Donald Trump was in Las Vegas speaking at the Treasure Island Hotel. The 1500-seat theater was packed an hour before Trump’s arrival.
Trump was complaining about how People magazine had photoshopped his nose on the cover picture. As he looked out into the audience, he spied a woman holding the magazine, hoping against hope that she could snag an autograph.
Trump waved the woman past his security and up on stage. Her name is Myriam Witcher, an immigrant from Columbia who became an American citizen 14 years ago.
And the rest is history:

I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
Good evening, I’m still reporting on the Clintons.
Another 2 minutes of the Dutch television program, Nieuwsuur’s, interview with Julian Assange have been released and although Assange’s concern for murdered DNC Data Manager, Seth Rich, is clear, he doesn’t quite flat out admit that Rich was the source of the DNC email dump. However, after watching this, it would difficult to argue otherwise.

However, this is still not the entire interview and one has to wonder why Nieuwsuur is withholdirg the balance.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.

Delegate Bob Marshall's explanation: http://tinyurl.com/olvz8lr
Bill Still's paper on the Con-Con con: http://tinyurl.com/pnaozjv
I knew I didn’t like the silver-tongued Marco Rubio, even though he talks such a great game.
But now, I’ve got something other than the amnesty-laden Gang of 8 operation.
In Iowa yesterday, Rubio announced that on his first day as President he would support a Constitutional Convention of the States to put in term limits for Supreme Court justices and a balanced budget amendment.
Of course never mind that the argument of supporters of the Con-Con Con has always argued that the convention can be held to a single issue.
This is, of course, nonsense. Just like in our first Constitutional Convention, once the doors of the convention are closed, anything goes.
In fact, the best guess on how it would all proceed is that Congress would not only declare the sole delegates of the convention, they could even amend the existing ratification process to – oh, let’s say that only Harry Reid’s single vote would serve as sufficient ratification.
It’s just a complete can of worms the true intention of which is to destroy our foundation of self-governance.
I know that the vast majority of those behind the Con-Con Con, don’t realize it’s just a con job. However, they have been riding this issue since the 1970s.
There is nothing new here. It’s the same old issues repeated over and over again. And this will go on long after I’m dead.
It all sounds good on the surface, but once you look under the hood, any reasonable person will conclude – as I did about 1984 – that it’s best to stick with the slow-but-steady normal amendment process and forget about this Con-Con con.
George Washington knew this would be coming. He referred to wholesale change to the then brand new Constitution as “ursupation”, and that’s a bad thing.
I have written on this dozens of times over the years. Below are three links: one is to my YouTube on the subject, SR #358.
The second link is to a piece written by Virginia’s greatest living legislator, Delegate Bob Marshall.
I also link something I wrote years ago and have kept updated.
Or, you can just click here for SR 358.
Please keep an open mind. I’ve spent hundreds of hours compiling the evidence on this. It would be nearly impossible to compile this from scratch.
I’ve got nothing to gain by continuously going against the popular tide here.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
In another major development, Fox News owner and fellow billionaire Rupert Murdoch has tweeted that the Republican Party should coalesce around Donald Trump quickly if he is the nominee.
“As predicted, Trump reaching out to make peace with Republican “establishment”. If he becomes inevitable party would be mad not to unify.”
The landmark announcement means Fox has finally realized that the war with Trump must come to an end. Murdoch tweeted earlier this week that Republicans should:
“close ranks to fight real enemy.”
Bottom line: despite the fact that tonight’s debate could turn out to be a rematch between Trump and Megyn Kelly the politically savvy expect a much more respectful debate this evening with huge ratings.
Holding my breath.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
