The vaccine developed by the prestigious OXFORD University is already being tested on fully voluntary people. If everything went well in September I would be ready
Chinessepharmaceutical company says its researchers are working day and night to find a vaccine against the coronavirus behind the Covid-19 pandemic. Sinovac Biotech says its experimental drug "Coronavac" looks promising for human use after some early success in tests on animals. While the drug still has a long way to go before it is approved, and the initial findings must still undergo a peer review by the global scientific community, human trials of "Coronavac" went ahead in April. The company is already building a new facility in Beijing to mass-produce the vaccine if it proves to be safe and effective. Sinovac aims to make 100 million doses of the vaccine a year after the facility is up and running by the end of 2020, said Meng Weining, the company’s senior director of overseas business.
