We got a bunch of "heresy hunter" folks out there SMASHING Mike Bickle - as if there aren't pastors ALL OVER THE PLACE abusing and manipulating and doing wrong. As if American Churchianity isn't Laodecian from top to bottom. The thing is you can be "following Mike" if you believe his every word and can't imagine he's done wrong and are fully on board - but you're JUST AS MUCH "following Mike" if you chase him everywhere throwing rocks at him! Either way, you're eyes aren't on JESUS and the Cross and the clear instruction to correct GENTLY and leave vengeance to the Lord. (2 Tim 2:25) This a CRITICAL moment in time where there COULD BE some clarity about what was and wasn't from God and what is on the right foundation and what isn't. But if all you're going to do is SCREECH and smash anybody that disagrees with you on the SLIGHTEST THING, then you're not really any good for this conversation. And if you're a Cessationist that is throwing rocks at Mike AND telling people to run from anyone that has a dream or a vision - you really ought to just go throw rocks at the Southern Baptist Convention leaders that are hiding sexual abuse and leave the Charismatics alone to handle their own business. You're wrong about the Gifts, you're being snarky and you're doing real harm to the HALF of Christianity that KNOWS FULL WELL that God still does all the stuff He always did.
