This weekend, Europe spoke on the topic of the Muslim invasion in no uncertain terms. In elections in many European nations on Sunday right-leaning, anti-immigration, even anti-Euro and European Union parties have been swept into office in the greatest political shift since World War 2. In France, in what is being called a “far-Right earthquake”, the anti-immigrant National Front party led by Marine Le Pen took 26% of the vote, pushing the ruling Socialist Party of president François Hollande into third place with under 14% of the vote in regional elections. Ms. Le Pen and her party made the anti-immigrant message the centerpiece of their campaign, calling for re-establishing European borders – a direct slap in the face to the open-border socialists which have ruled the European Parliament for decades. Le Pen’s main message was that France cannot take in more Muslim immigrants – a message that is growing stronger even in the United States. Le Pen’s 40-year-old party has never won before in any French region before. Le Penn will now set her sights on the presidential and legislative elections 18 months from now. Left-leaning parties across Europe squeeled in painful disbelief Monday morning. French Prime Minister Manuel Vall called the election: “a political earthquake in France…. “A very grave moment for France and for Europe.” Ecology minister Segolene Royale lamented: “It’s a shock on a global scale.” A second round of run-off elections will be held in France next Sunday, but the National Front is expected to dominate that election as well. Across Europe, right-wing parties gained ground in Germany, Austria, Denmark and Greece. German chancellor Angela Merkel – probably the leader most supportive of the EU’s open border policy - called the results: “remarkable and regrettable” In Germany, the Alternative für Deutschland party – or AfD - which wants Germany to stop using the Euro and return to the German Mark, won 6 of Germany’s 96 seats in the European Parliament. This was quite a surprise because this was the AfD’s first year in elections. Euro-skeptics believe that as the problems with the Euro continue to grow, the AfD is destined to continue to grow. But the tide has definitely shifted massively in Germany now. Even the ruling German party favors building a fence to put a stop to the Muslim tidal wave from the Middle East and Africa. In Greece, the anti-Europe Syriza leftist party topped the polls with 26.5% of the vote, and the extreme right Golden Dawn party winning 9.3% of the vote, thereby winning 3 seats in the European Parliament. In Denmark, the anti-Islam, anti-immigration Danish People’s Party came in first in nationwide elections, winning 27% of the vote. But it was also election day on another continent in the nation with the world’s largest proven oil reserves – no, not Saudi Arabia, but in South America - Venezuela. The far left-leaning United Social Party of former communist dictator Hugo Chaves was decimated by the more conservative Democratic Unity Roundtable – or MUD. Fortunately, the victory was so huge that President Nicolas Maduro took to the airwaves and announced that he accepted the loss and would retire peacefully in early January. He said some good things, but slowly as the crowd figured out that he wasn’t saying anything good about Donald Trump, the crowd started to turn ugly. [insert] As though God is trying to make a statement about Cruz, the massive 55-foot television wall behind Cruz starts blacking out. [insert: end: “That is the standard we should expect from everybody.”] Even you, Ted? Now he makes the statement that just sets the crowd off. They now realize that he is not going to endorse Trump. [insert “… the Constitution.”; ] “Vote your conscience” has for several weeks been the anti-Trumper’s theme phrase, frequently used by Paul Ryan. In fact, late last night, it was even tweeted out by Hillary Clinton in support of the Cruz supporters, hoping against hope that she can peal a few of them off. The crowd is now in full rebellion mode and starts chanting, Trump, Trump, Trump, and We Want Trump. [insert] Then, Cruz tries to blame the uproar on the New York Delegation: [insert] Cruz then tries to push his way through as he nears the end of his speech, but the convention is having none of Lyin” Ted by now. [insert] No, Ted, the poorboy message is not going to work now. You are toast. [insert] Nope, not even the fake emotional appeal to a recent victim of the rash of police shootings is going to calm them down, Ted. [insert: “… don’t agree.”] Ironic, because at this point, the crowd is shouting Cruz down in a manner unprecedented in televised convention history. Yes, Ted, about 99% of this crowd now sees you for what you really are – a complete liar and a fake. [insert: “… faithful to the Constitution.”] Yes, Canada Ted, and what about your proof of U.S. citizenship – of which you have provided none? Trump – unlike Cruz – is gracious. Trump’s motto is: life is short and enemies accumulate.” Trump wanted to give Cruz a second chance and Cruz totally blew it. Cruz will never again be elected to a major public office in this country. Perhaps he should return to his home country, Canada.
