We all know it is very important to save your pennies.

The point is, have you ever wondered, “why do we put pennies in a piggy bank”?
Because my mom bought it for me and it would be rude not to use and….
But why put money in a “Piggy Bank”?
Not sure, that is just the way it has been for a very long time.
Well, we don’t actually know the artist who created the first piggy bank but we do know why.
In medieval England, clay was known as “PYGG” spelled P-Y-G-G.
People would usually put their coins in pygg dishes or jars when they came home.
