DIY Copper Tube Active Loop Antenna - Shortwave broadcast of Helliniki Radiophonia @ 9420 kHz
I'm using the SDRPlay RSP1 connected with a USB powered 5 volts DC +30 db Low Noise Amplifier running SDR Console V3 software connected to my DIY Copper Tube Active Loop Antenna on the roof from a height of around 30 feet running 75 feet of RG-8X coax cable to my basement shack located in Yonkers, New York, USA. The antenna is oriented pointing North to South.

Shortwave radio listening DXexpedition to a local park here in Clermont Florida. I went to a local park near where I'm staying for my Florida vacation. I decided this park because my normal listening spot at the house is extremely noisy and also I wanted to get out of the house and do some walking. I normally take a 2 to 3 mile walk every other day while I'm Florida. I used my XHDATA D-808 shortwave radio and the Tecsun shortwave reel antenna hooked up to a small tree near a picnic table. It was some good shortwave receptions. This is my new go to spot for any future shortwave listening dxexpeditions.
