By some kind of miracle (maybe be karma too), after 2.5 years of seperation, my parents have managed to find their way to the island of Gods for 3 weeks!!!! Word's can't describe how blessed and happy I feel right now. This is in stark comparison to last year, when I firmly believed it was unlikely that I'd ever see them again. They're both tripple j'd and I had no idea whether there would be complications, if the borders would ever open, etc. This left me completely torn about staying in Bali, but the ultimate trust and faith that it was the right place to be - worked out. Although a little bit older, they don't appear to have been changed or harmed. I'm so grateful. Now I have to convince them to stay!
