It is a soft no - I didn't mention it in the video, but the quality is subpar in other ways as well - when it arrived the silicone cover on the bottom was not glued on well and hanging off the coffee maker. Bottom line I wouldn't mind if Fellow sold their products at a higher price and were quality, or they were this quality for a lower price. You buy these products, you take them out of the package, and you feel like most of your money went to marketing, into someone's pocket, and there was not enough left over to send you what you bought, so they threw some crap together. I hope they improve their quality with a version 2.0, fire the marketing people, and either charge a fair price for the lower quality, or give people what they deserve for the high price.

For the record my wife disagreed with me and LOVED this coffee maker... up until the point I, uh.. I mean the magical fairy that cleans things when you don't look, stopped cleaning it and then she hated it and hasn't used it since.

Want to buy some overpriced Chinese made crap that might be better next revision or would definitely be great (and probably same price or only a few bucks more if made in USA or Italy) because I must be wrong and you know better than me? https://fellowproducts.com/
