A. It depends. For stuff that’s heavily edited, look at a DSLR, since record times tend to be shorter, but the video looks better. If you’re ever shooting events or live streaming, look for something in the Vixia line. With lights added into the mix, it’s going to be hard to hit that budget, but not impossible.

I ha c e (sic!) been a fan of your YouTube videos for quite some time. At our church we are having a womens retreat that requires us to log into a website that is live streaming an event. Can we do this using ProPresenter 5? And if so, how? We have about a 3 megabits per second download speed at its worst and a 5 megabits per second at the best. Any help or guidance you could provide would be a blessing.

Just because your church only does hymns doesn't mean your videos are legal to upload to YouTube. You probably still need either the CCLI streaming license or the Church Copyright Association streaming license.
The problem is that even if you have them, since YouTube doesn't have a way to indicate that you do, your video could be flagged. Normally, you can dispute this and that dispute will end in your favor, but what happens if it doesn't.
