Bitcoin Is Real .:. Do You Earn Money With Bank Savings?
It's time for looking into the past that we can easier "predict" the future, but it's more about how will we react to certain things that will occur in the future more than predicting it... I've complicated too much this intro, but I suppose that it will be less complicated when you watch the video...
Like everyone else, I have made some mistakes on my crypto journey... I have actually quit crypto 5-6 years ago and I said to myself that I will never again go back into the blockchain world... and, here I am... lol... But, doing mistakes is a natural thing and no person didn't make any mistakes in their life (except babies, they don't count... :) )... It's not a big deal to make mistake, everyone knows that... :) The most important is to learn from OUR (and others') mistakes... That is the POINT of a mistake...
Why am I telling you my boring story? Well, there are a lot of newbies here on the chain, and if you aren't experienced "the good and the bad" of crypto, you don't have a complete picture, and you can't think clearly... You didn't make the mistake... But, you have a chance to avoid it by learning from MY mistake...
I was talking about my crypto ride, and my mistake regarding it, but I was also talking about things that are happening in these moments... I have given my opinion about different ways of investing and protecting your wealth, and of course, about the importance of decentralization...
In the end, we have to ask ourselves... What is REAL? Is the reality what we see on mainstream media, the blooming of stock markets, the great condition of finances, the stability of governments all around the world? Or it is something else, something different, that we can are experiencing on our own skin and in our pockets... I wanted to say our empty pockets, but if you are in crypto for some time, and you have played out wisely, your pockets aren't empty... ;)

I had a post with a similar title, but it was about another approach to this topic, so please bear with me...
From the very beginning, I was different. My family has descendants in another country, and I have been born as a foreigner in my country of birth... All my childhood I have tried to fit in... To be like any other kid... But I have been marked as different immediately... I had a different name and surname than any other in my class...
So blending into the masses didn't go well... lol... Especially when I was just one of the two or three children in the class that was asking the questions when we didn't understand something. That didn't mean that we were stupid as our grades were showing a different story...
I just was a curious kid that wanted to know the truth about why some things are happening, and why is something like my teacher said. (maybe I had problems with authorities... lol...)
Interestingly, when we find ourselves in some new surroundings, we try to be the same as any other in the group... Like I have tried when I was a child... To be like others... I don't know if that was in the schooling agenda, or it's just my personal feeling...
Imagine the world without some visionaries from the past, from the present, and from the future? How would our world look like today?
We would probably still lived in caves.
I have tried to touch some of these things in my vlog, but more focused on social media journey...

Supporting-Is-Free
Getting back into my "walking shape" and start moving my grey cells powered by fresh air! I really missed these walks a lot, as I was creating all my vlogs outside, and my "creation process" was connected with clearing my mind by outdoor space!
In today's vlog, I have decided to talk about ways of supporting others in two of my favorite platforms, [Hive](https://peakd.com/) and [LBRY](http://bit.ly/ph1102-lbry)... There are many ways of support, but I will focus on two particular ways as those are sometimes misunderstand by the newcomers...
On the Hive platform, the main support option is UPVOTES. People who join the Hive, usually don't understand the concept of upvotes and they are mixing it up with "tipping"... Because of that, they are "scared" to upvote others as they think that they are PAYING those upvotes from their pocket, which is NOT a case...
On the LBRY platform, there is a "classic tipping" option where you DO tip others with your coins, but we have there another great option, simply named SUPPORT. You can support other's (and yours too) channels or posts for a certain amount of time and help other creators to gain more "visibility"... For example, that is a great thing to do if you don't have posts and your coins are sitting in your wallet doing nothing... Move them a bit and support others until you get your stuff out!

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hive, LBRY... There are no tokens/cryptocurrencies that are going up in value forever... All of them are going up, going down, or just keeping the value for some time, without an exception... Sometimes, they are doing that in cycles that we call BULL or BEAR markets... In a bull market, the prices of most of the assets are going up, and in a bear market it does the opposite, values are going down... In recent history (3-4 years) we have experienced both of them and not just once... In a bull market, it's nice to see our portfolios exploding and going up, but in those moments, we should prepare ourselves for the "bad days", or bear market that has to come eventually...
Back in 2017, when I came into this cryptocurrency world we were in the heavy bull market... I was mining Ethereum back then and I have bought 2-3 graphic cards to start with it... After just 2-3 months, I have earned enough to double the number of cards, and after that to triple... It was nice to ride the wave and enjoy the profits... But, I didn't think that that has to come to its end one day... And, of course, that happened and we had one year of bear markets when everything went down... Yes, I was still accumulating ETH during 2018, but it wasn't enough to live from that profit, and I didn't want to sell ETH for the cheap price...
Long story short, I wasn't prepared for the bear market at all, as I didn't think that it can happen! And definitely, I didn't think that it can last over a year... Then, something similar happened in the second part of 2019 and that was the time when I hit rock bottom... I remember those moments as I didn't know what to do, where to find money to support my family, and I was very close to quitting crypto... Luckily, that didn't happen, I have found the strength to push through and I have accumulated a lot of cryptos exactly in those moments...
This year, I have decided to take some measures to prevent that uncertainty, that temptation of thinking about quitting... So, 2-3 months ago (or even more) I have started thinking "what about later?"... What will I do when the bear market comes? I know that it's the best moment to accumulate crypto, but I would like to live from it in those moments, not just to wait for "the better days"...
So, I made a shortlist of "things to do" that could help me to get through this period... In the video, you can find more details about it and I will just name them shortly here in the description... So, when the bear market hits you should...
1. Continue with content creation on whatever platform you are using... Yes, rewards will not be so juicy like they were when HIVE was over $3, or LBRR was over 20c, but you will still earn a similar amount of tokens... They will earn less in USD, but 1 HIVE is still 1 HIVE... Don't forget that!
2. Poke around De-Fi platforms out there... There are many solutions and we have one that is coming from the LEOFinance team that is called [CUBDefi](https://cubdefi.com/)... Take that as a starting point and research others down the pipe...
3. NFTs and #Play2Earn gaming are the future... And the future is already here... Closer than you think... Check out [Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.io/?ref=cryptofiloz) where you can play and collect different assets in the game... Those assets have value and some of them can earn you money passively... Every additional income during the bear market is welcomed and those assets can earn you that... When we come back to normal, you will still have those assets!

Crypto-Cycles-.-.-There-is-a-time-to-buy,-and-a-time-to-sell
In this video, I have shared my personal story about my beginnings in the cryptocurrency world and some of my observations that I have made during that journey...
I had one small "excursion" into the world of Bitcoin and Litecoin, back in 2014... I remember that I have bought 1.5 BTC when it was around $400 and the price went down to $200, I started to panic and sold my BTC with a loss... That was the first lesson that I have learned, to not panic when it starts to go down... At that moment, I decided to go out from crypto and "never" come back...
Of course, that didn't happen... lol... As I had a lot of experience in computer hardware, in spring 2017, my friend triggered me to think about mining Ethereum... The price was under $100, and it was kind of "late" to start with mining, but luckily, I bought a couple of GPUs, build my first rig, and start mining... That was probably my second important lesson about crypto... **It's never too late to start with crypto**, even when you think that it is...
Regarding this, I have heard just today in one Telegram group someone said: "People will still buy Bitcoin at 20K, and lose money"... Well, yes they will, and maybe I will too... Is it too late, or too early, or a bad decision, or a good decision? That will time tell when Bitcoin hits 100K, or go back to 5K... So, it's another important lesson... Don't judge certain things, especially if they are still in the early phase... We have hopes that BTC will hit 100K or 1M, but we have no idea how BIG, or how SMALL can it be... We can just wish and guess...
I saw Bitcoin going down back in 2014 and panic... Saw Bitcoin at ATH, didn't sell it... So, maybe now it's the right time to do things right...

The problem with "liking metaphors", as I like to use them, is that you see some really nice examples of great things around yourself, which can you compare, or use as a metaphor... But, on the other side, unfortunately, you are not immune to negative metaphors which can sometimes occur around you...
I will tell you a little secret... The last three videos, I have recorded on the same day... I have left my home with the idea to record the video about [my son's question about the prediction of the crisis](https://peakd.com/hive-183630/@ph1102/qwdtspou)... But, recording that video, another idea came to me about the [John Coffey and his tiredness about this world](https://peakd.com/hive-181335/@ph1102/bclkutcq), and I did that too...
In the end, I have left video ideas, just walking toward my home, and I see the image that I have described in this video... That image leads to another one, and another one...
Before you start looking at the video (if you didn't watch it already), I would like to clarify some things... I'm not a negative person, but we don't choose what kind of thing the future brings us... I have perceived these images in this way, but you will probably perceive them in another way...
But, on the other side, we CAN react differently on negative things around us... My way is that I have to REALIZE them that they exist, to be aware of them... When I know who is the "enemy" on the other side, it is much easier to fight against it... And turn, or transform that negative energy into something positive...

Switch-From-Employee-to-Entrepreneur
I had recently an interesting conversation with my old friend (actually a classmate) about working for yourself and working for others... What are the pros and cons, and how can you jump from one place to another... As we had different ways of thinking and working, it was great to exchange opinions...
When I have finished University, the first thing that I have done was to open a PC Shop and service... I was working a short time for others while I was studying as I needed money for food and accommodation, but I knew that all that is temporary and I lived for a day when I will have something "mine"... I have started with a very modest amount of money, but I have invested 100% of myself and my time into the business... It is always like that... **If you don't have enough money, you have to compensate that with additional time...**
After 2-3 years, I have employed exactly that friend to work in my shop... He was a good worker, and he has done everything that I have asked of him... On the other side, I have put all my workers in the first place and they have always received the salary before me... After a couple of months, he came to me with a question... "Can I promise him that the business will grow and that he will get a better wage in a year or two?"
That was a good question, but if you think about it you will notice that NOBODY can promise those things... I couldn't promise that to myself, and I definitely couldn't do that to someone else... After some time, he left and begun to work for another company, and I did understand his point of view, but I couldn't lie to him... Someone else could, and he worked there for a couple of years, and of course, quit...
In the video, I have shared my experience with different kinds of people and how you can "recognize" if you are material for an entrepreneur, or not... The entrepreneurs aren't Gods or some higher-level creatures, but to be a successful entrepreneur, you need a different kind of thinking... Different attitudes, different responsibilities, etc...

Undervalued-and-Overvalued-Assets
Not everyone out there is a trader, and neither do I... I had a short period where I have tried FOREX and after that a bit of crypto trading as a full-time job, but I didn't find it suitable for my personality (I was stressing too much about it... lol...). At the moment, I do a bit of trading, if that can be called like that, but only small amounts what I can afford to lose... So, all that I have said in the video, or wrote in the post is just my personal views and they are not any financial advice or such...
The thing that I do currently is "optimizing" my buy/sell orders and usually, waiting for the price to come to me, and not chasing it... If my order fills up, that's great... if not, no worries, there are a lot of other options to enter...
Also, one of the important mid-term strategies is to find overvalued and undervalued crypto assets and trade them... Sometimes, it can be tough to recognize which token is overvalued, especially if there is no history behind it... But, on the other side, when you check the fundamentals behind certain projects, you can get the picture...
The same goes for undervalued assets... You think that "there is no way that this coin goes more down", and it drops 20-30% more... So, be cautious with both things... It is hard to see "the top", or "the bottom", but if you are close to them, you can still be in profit nicely...
In the video, I have talked about POB as an example, but many other tokens can be good examples... Just to clarify, I have nothing against POB, as I'm actually accumulating and staking most of my tokens there... It was just a good, "fresh" example for the video...

There is a lot of misunderstanding about the difference between blockchain and websites. It's not a problem on LBRY, it's the same in other social network blockchain project... Like STEEM and Steemit.com, LBRY blockchain and LBRY.TV website...
I have tried to explain the difference in the video and why the video can't be deleted from the blockchain, but it can be removed from the website...
