In this series, I will not upload regularly - it will be only when I have time.
In this episode, I added the wrong video at the end - oh well :)
The Cave is a beautifully done game, where you take on the role of three of seven (very) different characters, each with their own desires and personalities. The setting is inside a talking cave, and during the adventure, you get to know the dark side of each of the characters.

The resolution is pretty low, but soon I will get a new computer, and then I will start recording with higher resolution.
In Mark of the Ninja you play the role as a ninja, having this tattoo made with a specific poison, giving him power, but also making him loosing his mind after a while (promising to kill himself, before this happens). In the game you have to be stealthy, make one-hit kills, and hide the bodies as you progress, so that you are not discovered by other foes. The game engine is B-E-A-utifully made, and really lets you feel that you are indeed a ninja. Sitting in the shadows, watching the enemy, calculating your next ten moves - and then executes them (hopefully).
This game is fun to
Play, and really well done, I

This weekend quickie is "The Code," a Minecraft puzzle map created by Jesper the End. Link to the map on the forum here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1728080-the-code-151-features/
This is only a showcase, and not a full play through of the map - I tried to make sure the video was not too long.

Weekend Quickies are meant to try out games, or just play small web games. There will normally be a single episode of a game (sometimes multiply, though).

This video shows a great way to do animations in Photoshop CS6, by using video-layers. It also shows how to make transparent videos.
It seems the exports do not work with VideoPad, except if you export as "uncompressed." I do not know if this applies to other video editing software.
You can use multiple video layers to make sketching/lines/colors separate.

They play various games, both bigger-company games and indies, and have multiple ongoing series at a time! Monday through Friday you are promised one episode, of one of their normal series, each day, and as a side dish for that, sometimes they will pull a one time play of other games during weekends (or even as extras on work-days).
..And beside pure gaming videos: On BlessHayGaming.tumblr.com Simon writes reviews of the games he is done playing AND in one of Simon's series he is not the gamer -- he is the developer!

PaPo & Yo is a game where you control a boy, roaming around in his city, moving houses, and doing whatever imagination can let happen. He got a trusty "super awesome robot" called Lulu, which helps him on his adventures to find, help and flee from Monster, whom is both his friend and foe. (Monster is a picture on the boys father, who "becomes a monster" when he drinks)
