Ted Cruz’s big victory in Texas last night was actually a terrible showing by Republican “favorite son” standards. In fact it the worst showing by a Republican candidate in his home state since 1913. Yesterday, Cruz won 43.7% of the vote, beating out Trump by 17 points. However, Republicans over years have shown fierce loyalty to home state candidates, on average giving them over the last 100 years 78.5% of the vote. According to Eric J. Ostermeier, writing in the Smart Politics blog from the Univ. of Minnesota’s School of Public Affairs, Cruz’s victory: “…avoided an embarrassment that might have pressured him to withdraw after Super Tuesday. While Cruz escaped that unenviable situation, his victory in Texas is decidedly shy of impressive." I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
First of all, a note on the story I put up late last night about the hitman arrested in Trump Tower. There is some disputed information in that story and it was just too late for me to get to the bottom of it last night, so in the interest of accuracy, I took the story down.
Somehow or another the story persisted on the Internet and now is pushing towards a quarter million views. I’ll get the correction story up later today.
Now, President Obama personally approved last January the payment of $400 million in cash to free four American hostages imprisoned in Iran. The day a private jet landed in Tehran with the cash, the hostages were freed.
President Obama announced the freeing of the Americans on Jan. 17, but somehow neglected to disclose the part about the $400 million all-cash payment – perhaps the largest cash payout in history.
From the first second I heard about this hostages-for-money with Iran I knew what it was. Why? Am I that well informed on international deal making?
No – because of one huge factor; either the Iranians demanded cash, or possibly the Obama administration insisted in paying in cash to avoid tipping the public and the media off to what looks more like a drug deal payoff then payment between nations in accordance with longstanding treaty agreements.
Because of US-led sanctions, Iran does have trouble obtaining western currency, but by far the most pressing use for currency is to provide that cash to its terror affiliates worldwide.
The cash was gathered from Swiss and Dutch central banks – probably all in Euros because any transaction with Iran done in U.S. dollars is illegal under U.S. law and we know our president wouldn’t have any part in that.
Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations under President Reagan, John Bolton appeared on Fox Business with Stuart Varney and denounced the secret payment as absolutely a ransom.

Donald Trump is blistering the news wires once again. Just 2 days before the last Republican Presidential debate, Trump has pulled out of the debate reportedly because Fox host Megyn Kelly will be moderating.
Trump felt he was not fairly treated by Kelly during the first debate.
Before that debate I was a fan of Kelly, a rising star at Fox. However, during that debate, Kelly got way to big for her britches as she arc-ed off into shameless sensationalism and gotcha questioning of Trump.
Worst of all, subsequently she has steadfastly refused to show the slightest degree of remorse, insisting she was right in her line of questioning of Trump and giving the impression that she is now the best of the best of TV journalists.
Kelly shocked and disappointed me that night, and since then, her arrogance has continued unabated.
Trump told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday:
"I don't like her, she doesn't treat me fairly. I'm not a big fan of hers at all.”
My advice to Kelly is: you aren’t nearly as good as you think you are. The hot-shot routine doesn’t take you that far. Try a dose of humility topped with a heaping helping of Grace.

Good afternoon. I’m still reporting on politics.
About two years ago, “Campaign Carl” Cameron was doing a live standup for Fox inside the north gate of the White House, where all the major network correspondents do it.
He was talking about the new freshman Senator, Ted Cruz, and how although he was making a mark on Congress, he was not eligible to run for President.
“Rubio is not the GOP’s only up-and-commer.”
“Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s feisty Senate debut had some tea-partyiers noting that in 2016, he’d have as much Senate experience as President Obama did when he first ran. But Cruz was born in Canada And is Constitutionally ineligible.”
Look, the establishment Republicans are insane to support Cruz over Trump. The chances of Hillary bringing this issue up is zero % before the Republican convention, and absolutely 100% the day after.
Even if this weren’t true, Cruz will be minimized as a far right wing radical who no one in the Senate likes.
Independents will stay home.
Trump will pull in the majority of independents and a significant percentage of mainline Democrats worried about Hillary’s eligibility.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day

Utilizing one of the primary tools of direct democracy – initiative – a Swiss group of monetary reformers, known as Modernizing Money – or MoMo, turned in 111,819 signatures on Tuesday to the Swiss government which will force a vote on the issue of sovereign money.
The initiative petition called for the Swiss National Bank (SNB) to take back the money power away from the banks and give the SNB the exclusive power to create new money.
If passed by the general public, the initiative proposal automatically becomes law in Switzerland. The SNB would then be solely responsible for money creation.
According to MoMo, the current fractional reserve system – where banks get to create new money each time they issue loans – is inherently unstable, because only 20% of the money created actually finds its way into the real economy, which creates jobs and goods and services. The remaining 80% is invested in financial markets by the banks themselves.
Stiff opposition to the measure is expected by the Swiss Bankers Association or SBA. They said on Tuesday that if passed, the new law would increase the cost of mortgages and lending.
Iceland is considering a similar measure. A report produced for Iceland’s parliament suggested that such changes could eliminate the instability underlying the Icelandic bank collapse in 2007.

Did you ever wonder what happened to the 8th Republican candidate – Carly Fiorina during the last debate?
Where was she? Why wasn’t she allowed to be on stage. She actually had one delegate out of Iowa, more than some other candidates that made it on the debate stage.
Well, Democrat pollster Pat Caddell explained it on Fox News late Sunday evening.
[insert]
That’s right, Carly Fiorina was the only candidate who was excluded because she was a woman and since it was an ABC debate, the network made the rules, and, according to Caddell – who is a Democrat – ABC is the most in-the-tank network for the Clintons, and apparently the Clinton campaign wanted to portray the Republicans as sexist, so she had Fiorina excluded.
Of course, another factor is Fiorina had been doing seriously focused damage to Clinton in the other debates.

In November 2015, a very interesting article was published by former Navy Seal, Matthew Bracken. His title was “Tet, Take Two: Islam’s 2016 European Offensive.”
Since the number of people who will know what the Tet offensive was is dwindling rapidly, I’ve cut it down to “Islam’s 2016 European Offensive”. But make no mistake, the following article is all about Braken’s take on the world – with a few added touches from your humble reporter.
Braken’s piece is probably THE most important 9100-word article I read in 2015; however, that’s just it – for those of us who are borderline illiterate, it’s just too long.
I’ve held off reporting on it, because of the crush of smaller stories on the invasion of Europe and a slower, quieter invasion going on today in America, as well as the related election battle between Trump and the forces of evil.
So it’s Saturday. It’s important. So even though this will probably take up all my day – it’s now or never.
By the way, look up Bracken on Amazon. He’s got some good-looking novels out there.
Bracken’s main thesis is that the great Muslim invasion is the culmination of a 3-way or triune battle for power between groups with entirely different worldviews.
“Three great social forces are now set in motion for a 2016 showdown and collision that will, in historical terms, be on par with the First and Second World Wars.”
Just like in the old board game, “Risk”, two of these great social forces are temporarily allied in an attempt to break the third.
Force #1 Bracken rightly calls “international socialism”.
Force #2 is Islam – which is, and will forever be - dedicated to world domination under Sharia law – no exceptions – do whatever it takes to get there.
Force #3 are the nationalists. Since the very word - Nationalism - has been under attack for about a century, this takes some explaining.
The founding fathers of the United States were very concerned about tyrants and tyranny.
They wanted to create a system of self-governance that would protect their hard-won freedoms. So they built a system of government that was decentralized to the maximum extent that was still practical.
Their solution was a concept built throughout the U.S. Constitution, but interestingly, never mentioned by name in the entire document – the separation-of-powers concept.
The first line of defense was the power given to the individual state governments. But then, within the federal government, power is further separated into blocks of power in the legislative, judicial and executive branches of government. Everywhere you look in the U.S. Constitution you see this intent of the founders to prevent one group from getting too much power.
What is the separation of powers concept at the international level? It is the absolute necessity of individual sovereign states – nationalism. What if a group of sovereign nations wouldn’t have ganged up to take down Hitler? All of Europe would be speaking German today. That’s a fact.
The United Nations and the League of Nations before that have been direct attacks on this concept of the absolute necessity of sovereign nations remaining in place to foster the continued growth of human civilization and increase human freedom.
People intuitively recognize this deep inside, and therefore, the League and subsequently, the UN have failed to destroy the nationalists. People love their nations for a reason. Think about it.
The last century in Western Europe has been dominated by this struggle between Force #3 – nationalists – and Force #1 – international socialism or World Revolution.
Over time, force #1 has gradually been weakening Force #3 – the individual sovereign state.
Now, in steps Force #2 – Islam. Using the “Risk” game mentality, Force #1 now has allied themselves with Force #2 to murder Force #3, then divvy-up the rest of the world. How Force #1 cannot see that Islam will come after them just as soon as it finishes off the nationalists is the question.
Why hasn’t Islam won if they have been at this conquest for 1400 years? Two factors - #1 is the ease of international travel today. Secondly, since there is no concept of a social compact – to work commonly towards the advancement of civilization – Islamic nations throw all their energies traditionally into the conquest, leaving a hollow core of poverty.
The discovery of oil changed all that. Now, one Saudi Prince has pledged his entire 35 billion dollar fortune to the advancement of the Islamic Caliphate. To that end, he is the primary force behind the building of thousands of mosques in Europe and the U.S.
According to Bracken:
“Islam is similar to a self-replicating supercomputer virus. It is a hydra-headed monster, designed by its creators to be an unstoppable formula for global conquest.”
“Islam itself has remained steadfastly at war with the non-Muslim world for 1,400 years.”
Visit our website: http://www.billstill.com Good evening, I’m still reporting on Trump.
I wish everyone in this mighty nation could watch this. Trump would win in a landslide for sure without doing another thing to campaign.
It leads off with Rudy Giuliani – the former Mayor of New York – who speaks for 8 minutes and explains why the Clintons cannot fix the problems with inner cities – because Democrats have been in control of the inner cities for 50 years or more.
Democrats want the inner cities to stay just like they are. Why? Because they can then keep pumping the federal government for more money every 4 years to fix the problems, but the money never gets down to the street. It’s sucked away by friends of Democratic politicians on programs which are guaranteed to go nowhere and no one holds them accountable. So the next presidential cycle, the same cry goes up to fix the inner cities, more federal money is granted, and nothing happens – over and over and over again.
Then Reince Priebus comes on and talks for just 3 minutes and although I used to think he was just some knucklehead, I swear, his prescription for America will make you cry.
Then Gov. Scott Walker comes on to speak for another 3 minutes and you’d think he was Donald Trump’s son.
Then Trump comes on and lays out his plan just so wonderfully in 38 minutes.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
