Transcript:
We cut through the floor. We're cutting a hole with a saw. Sort of like you do in mobile homes cut it in between the joists. This is the floor joists. I'm really not that strong. Sometimes I smell strong, but I'm not that strong. So it's been wet for a long, long time. And our job is to make it better. It's went through plywood underneath and then particleboard and then the floor joists, so. It had plastic too, by the way.
Some how it still got through all of that. So here we go.
Couple hours later. When I say couple, I mean two. We’ve got all this out. And that one, although it looks.
It's pretty good and we're going to put new floor joists in. I’m going to try to encourage them to put plastic down so that we won’t get moisture up on to the floor joists. And I don’t know if they will want to put insulation floor, but that’d be a good idea. And then we’ll put half inch OSB down and then a tongue and groove flooring. Some of this area we’ll have to cut the particle board and we’ll leave the plywood. The half inch plywood, we’ll cut this out because it’s just too swelled up.
Like behind on this area here. It’s all swelled up because of moisture. And we’ll cut that out and put new in. But this is what you can do in a couple of hours, two and a half hours. Plus talk to the guy that owns this place Who is thoroughly depressed and disappointed. What we're going to do now is continue to clean up and pick up and we'll take you through, as we put all back together.

#ACNotCooling #CloggedCondenserCoil #AirConditionerCleaning
Transcript:
In a day and age when we want to make our products, our air conditioners last longer. One of the things you need to do twice a year probably is clean these coils. Now you can just use a water hose and hose it down, or you can use a coil cleaner. And this one's a pure later 2000. And I got this at Lowe's.
Professional grade foaming solvent protects coils with built in corrosion inhibitors, helps to degrease and clean with that other about a like so you shake it up spray liberally.
I'm going to let it sit there while you make sure it's off. Read it off. Yes, Clay, you're right. And that foam will push out some of that dirt, and then, after it's set for a while, will hose it all out. You can just hose it, but you need to do it fairly regularly. That's like a radiator and you need to clean that.
So if it gets covered up then it would. Here I have county road dust and just dust in general. So we're going to come back here a little bit when this is foamed up and see what it looks like.
Now we're going to clean it all.
This spray nozzle is terrible. And we'll get it all out. So there's no soap coming up. Oh, there you go. That's what you do twice a year, you see.

Phil and the guys are replacing a water damaged subfloor in a mobile home closet. The water damage came from a leak under the house. It held the water against the floor and rotted the subfloor. When you look at the laminate, it looks fine... but under is another story.
We are busting the floor out between the joists to make it easier to pull out. Less mess, less time for cleanup.
