The Kamenjak Peninsula or Cape Kamenjak also known as the Peninsula of Premantura (Punta) is the southernmost cape of Istria. Kamenjak is a protruding piece of land delving deep into the sea, some six kilometers long with the average width of about a kilometre. Kamenjak rugged coastline, some 30 kilometers long consist of numerous bay and various beaches forming an area of exceptional natural beauty including 11 unhabitated islands. The west coast of Kamenjak is stepper and its northern part partly encloses the Medulin Bay.
The coast of the Kamenjak peninsula is incredibly rugged and offers many places to swim, high water jump, etc. Some places are available only from the sea. Once you get tired of swimming, you can stay in one of the many beach bars situated on Kamenjak.

5.3 magnitude quake in Zagreb causes serious damage
A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck a wide area north of the capital Zagreb at 6:23 a.m. (5:23 GMT) on Sunday, the European seismological agency EMSC said.
The epicenter was 7 kilometers (4 miles) north of Zagreb at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles).
Zagreb's emblematic cathedral suffered damage. The top of one of its two needles collapsed. The cathedral was rebuilt after it fell during another earthquake in 1880.
Many buildings in the city suffered damage to walls and roofs.
The downtown streets were littered with rubble as concrete slabs fell on cars.
Power lines was cut and people were left homeless. Several fires were also reported, and at least two other tremors were recorded later in the day.

The especially beautiful cove Jagodna is located between Sveta Nedjelja and Ivan Dolac. Pebble beaches of Jagodna bathed in sun, crystal clear waters, thick pine forests and the song of crickets are the best recipe for relaxing during the long, warm summer days. In the cove there is a camp and restaurant, the closest self-service store is in Ivan Dolac, for all other supplies the closest place to go to is Jelsa.

Vis Island - Stiniva Beach
Due to an inlet of the sea, surrounded by high cliffs that hide the beach, Stiniva on the island of Vis is hardly visible from the open sea. However, access from the sea is ideal for reaching Stiniva beach. There is also a demanding 20 minutes access by foot which literally follows the goat track. Stiniva beach is surrounded by steep cliffs so that half of the beach is always in the shade. Stiniva is a pebble beach for lovers of the beautiful clean sea and of the wild landscape.
Vis is a small Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. The farthest inhabited island off the Croatian mainland, Vis had a population of 3,617 in 2011. Vis has an area of 90.26 square kilometres (34.85 square miles). Its highest point is Hum, which is 587 metres (1,926 feet) above sea level. The island's two largest settlements are the town of Vis on the island's eastern side (the settlement for which the island was originally named) and Komiža on its western coast.
Once known for its thriving fishing industry in the late 19th and early 20th century, the main present-day industries on the island are agriculture and tourism. Vis town and Komiža are also seats of separate administrative municipalities which cover the entire island and nearby islets, which are both part of Split-Dalmatia County.

A teenager die after a roof collapsed, local media say. The spire of the city's cathedral also snapped off.
After Sunday's tremor, Zagreb's mayor urged people to return to their homes given fears about the coronavirus.
The 5.3-magnitude quake is the largest to affect the city in 140 years.
Aside from the teenager, another sixteen people were injured.
Panicked residents ran out into the streets when it struck around 06:00 local time and were initially told to stay out by authorities.
