The book offers a perspective on gender politics that both Tom and Janice thought was an important addition to the literature on men’s issues. Tim lays out ideas that help us understand the nature of the problem and the resistance we face along with some ideas about possible solutions. A potent section of the book is where he names 14 different types of female power that are basically invisible and almost never acknowledged as powers. It’s an interesting discussion.
