I wanted to send a Sony a7Siii up in a weather balloon to get 4k footage of the aurora borealis from the edge of space. This was ambitious to say the least: that camera didn’t even exist yet, and a flight like that had (to my knowledge) never been properly executed. Sending a full-frame camera into the stratosphere is no easy feat. Hundreds of hours of planning later I am VERY excited to announce Light Side Up. This is the top secret project I’ve been teasing since August, and the reason I’ve been basically non-existent on this app for the last few months. I’ve been locked in my editing dungeon trying to bring this dream to life, and I truly hope you’ll join me right here on YouTube, December 8th for the big reveal.
