You can find Nick at www.HCTCfirearms.com This 1945 Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine got gussied up with Promag's Archangel stock, a Timney trigger, a Brass Stacker Anchor Point scope mount, a See All Open Sight, and a Precision Armament M11 muzzle brake. HCTC firearms put it all together by cutting the barrel down to 16", recrowning and threading it, and coating many of the parts with KG Gunkote in a sweet digital camo pattern. The end result is awesome! A lot more affordable than .308 but ballistically very similar! The Ultimate Mosin here is fairly comparable to a Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle (http://www.ruger.com/products/gunsiteScoutRifle/models.html) -- bolt-action, drop magazine fed, forward/scout scope location, short barrel. This build wasn't cheap, but it comes in at or under the price of a Gunsite Scout. Not bad when you consider the ammo savings!
