Watchtower Whistleblower: Regular Pioneer to shunned in less than 1 year.
Meet my beautiful friend Tiffany. She started out 2019 living her #bestlifeever as a #JehovahsWitness and Pioneer . Upon accidentally learning about the Australian Royal Commission and learning about the CSA abuse within the #Watchtower Tiff and her husband innocently asked the local elders about it. What happened next is nothing short of a witch hunt and kangaroo court. She will telling her story on her own channel in the near future. I'm blessed to know this beautiful human and see her courage and strength firsthand. We had a blast hiking the mountains in Colorado. ?????????? ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKPNKBgHjZU
This is super unpleasant to watch for me, but if it helps another person wake up to the absurdities of Watchtower (aka JWdotORG), then so be it. The main reason why I'm OK with seeing myself like this (a mess!) is because I can see, feel, and hear that I'm growing from this experience. I was trying to simply fade from the organization, but Watchtower policy turns elders, who are "victims of victims" themselves, into Spanish Inquisition style hunters. This is not shepherding the flock of God...this is wrangling sheep with lassos and whips. I do not blame my elders for treating me this way...I don't take it personally anymore. (but as you can see in this video, I did initially)
We all "teach people how to treat us." I'm finally learning how to respond to this Pharisee style of governance: Know your rights. (Human Rights section 3 and 18 specifically). Don't cower in fear. Maybe elders don't realize how abusive they are behaving because nobody ever called them out on it before. I don't know, but I look at people like Paul and how he appealed to his Roman citizenship and spoke the truth in the public square. Imagine being in a KH where a DFing announcement is made and each member of the congregation responds by NOT shunning. It starts with me. We are all powerful to stand up to injustice and unloving treatment.

I consider my Trinitarian Christians to be my brothers and sisters in Christ. I know that that is not always reciprocated towards me. I was a trinitarian for a couple years myself, after I left the Jehovah's Witness Sect. This video is for people who enjoy doing their own research and loving their neighbors, regardless of our beliefs. I feel very comfortable worshipping with Christians in churches where the mission statement starts with declaring God is a Trinity. I take Communion. But I cannot in good conscience agree to the Mission Statements these various churches hold.
