Eli Cohen was an Egyptian-born Jewish Mossad agent. He was deployed as a spy to Damascus where he successfully lived in the guise of a Syrian businessman. He was thought responsible for missions that could shape the fate of the whole region. Using his connections, Cohen visited military bases and outposts and gathered intelligence ‘that saved Israel many brigades’ during the 1967 war, according to former prime minister Levi Eshkol. A mysterious film discovered in a Moscow flat 60 years later provides a glimpse of the spy war in the region in the 1960s.
‘Well, the volunteers came. In fact, they were Ukrainian volunteers Child Services. They could take children by force. By force’, says 13-year-old Diana Voitenko about Ukrainian Child Servises. Diana and her parents spent almost six months, sheltering from Ukrainian shelling in their basement. When the Ukrainian military or child protection services barged into the basement, her parents hid the kids in the back room. Why would they? Otherwise, the kids would be taken against their will or the wishes of their parents. Watch the documentary to discover the sad truth about these kids.

"A big kind heart is good, especially in Donbass. But I'd say it should be coated with some kind of armour. Working with suffering and fear is very difficult. And it... can wear you down," according to Ekaterina Pankova, Deputy Head, 'Road of Life' Charity Foundation.
Every day, Ekaterina faces episodes and touching stories that throw her off balance. However, children in Lugansk with serious and sometimes incurable diseases, desperately need care and treatment that only experienced professionals like doctors from the 'Road of Life' can offer.
That's why Ekaterina and her colleagues prioritised the well-being of these children over their own safety, regularly visiting children's homes in Donbass to provide them with the aid and care they need. Learn about these passionate doctors and their everyday challenges in Donbass.

Seven-year-old Dima lost his parents in Mariupol. They covered him with their bodies during one of the artillery strikes. He barely survived, was found by Russian soldiers and moved to a social centre in the Donetsk People’s Republic. His first words after weeks of silence were: “It is quiet here. In Mariupol, they fire really hard”.
There are 17 children in the centre. Some of them were rescued from the frontlines of the Donetsk region and Mariupol by volunteers. The new documentary follows one of those volunteer groups that deliver humanitarian aid every ten days to ‘hot areas’ and evacuates families stuck in basements during shelling. Find out what stories they are told.

In March 2011, a deadly earthquake hit Japan. The reactors of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power station were shut down as a precaution. However, a 15-metre tidal wave triggered by the earthquake flooded the plant’s cooling system, shutting it down. Over the next few days, a series of hydrogen explosions occurred in the reactors. Levels of radioactivity in the area skyrocketed as radioactive contamination was released into the atmosphere. It was the worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl. After more than a decade, former residents are returning to their town.
