While it would be a gross exaggeration to say that justice was done today, at least a jury did the right thing. On all four counts of disorderly conduct, refusing to obey, criminal trespass, and concealing ID, Philip Mocek was found not guilty. This landmark case today proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that YOU have the right to travel without ID and film in airports. Unfortunately, it also proved that cops can still lie with near immunity under oath in court. It's a sad day for justice when a man found not guilty of the charges against him still experiences the gross inconveniences of this case that took over a year because of incompetent/malicious prosecutors.
