FTDI have released a windows driver update that bricks any product using counterfeit chips. A classic case of corporate suicide. Dave breaks down "FTDIgate", and rants about FTDI's official response.
NOTE: The 2nd half of this video includes the original rant video before FTDI responded and withdrew their new driver.
There are a few big problems with Open Source Hardware and usage of the Gear logo. Dave has a new solution, make it more like Creative Commons!
Download the new logo here:

UPDATE: it would be really cool if there was an auto-generator website like the Creative Commons Logo. Pick your options and it creates the logo with the letters below the symbol.

The Transpod FluxJet is Hyperloop based on the "New physics" of "Veillance Flux"!
And plasma arc power transfer!
$550M to create a reduced pressure Fluxjet link from Calgary to Edmonton in Canada.
It'll only cost $18B, what a bargain!
And Sydney to Brisbane? Err, yeah, ok, let's look at that...

60 minutes of Dave assembling his silent (low noise) Intel i7 3770K video editing computer. If you find that boring, don't watch.
NOTE: This is NOT an instructional video!
YES, I used WAY too much thermal paste (as shown in the heatsink instructions!), get over it. I cleaned it and fixed it afterwards.
YES, I initially put the memory in the wrong sockets.
YES, I did not do any cable management, I just wanted to test the thing, get over it.
I fixed all those issues, so no more stupid comments please.
Also, please DON'T leave uninformed generic comments about needing a high end video card for editing and rendering. You are wrong for my case, read this first:
