In the west, our education seeks to force us to disbelieve some things in favor of "science." I'm a highly trained scientist and I experienced that. I was able to grow in my Faith when I, through the Spirit, determined that to read scripture and listen to messages AS IF THEY WERE TRUE instead of by my educationally trained mode of considering them false. Perhaps that approach can help you where you are at. Much Thanks!
A large number of Christian teachers have promoted the concept that we must "obey the authorities" per Romans 13. There are multiple cases in the Bible where this supposed order is not followed. Thus, it cannot mean what it appears to mean standing alone. 1) Daniel, 2) Paul, 3) Peter, 4) Moses, 5) Jesus.
Less than 30% of the United States population gets no employment/contract preferences ... more than 70% receive preference consideration. Who is the "minority." Less than 30% of the Earth's land area is from historically culturally white areas and these areas are under active colonization by others. Which race/culture is the actual minority?
Contemporary Christianity as taught and preached in the US holds that anything we might do to gain Heaven is "works." Well, Jesus could not give in to temptation, and by modern teaching that is a "work." The modern teachers are wrong, the truth is much more nuanced and we live our Faith by working these questions out each day ... take up your cross.
Acceptance of the fanciful notion that whatever women say needs to be believed has been a long germinating phenom. It has reached full fruition and the results are calamitous.
The local paper ran a top of the front page article celebrating the one year anniversary of a BLM march that occurred after the Floyd incident. I wrote a letter to the Editor taking them to task.
Text of Letter
I see a story celebrating the 1 year anniversary of (our town's) Black Lives Matter (BLM) at the top of the front page on your paper (5 June 2021). A year ago errors could be understood because of the speed with which events moved, today no such understanding needs to be given. Have you not learned in the intervening year that BLM is devoted to Marxist/Communist principles, dissolution of families, and much else of that vein? Is that what you are promoting today for our community? Whatever BLM’s words are, their actions speak with ultimate authority. They stand for arson, intimidation, property destruction and theft, looting, physical harm, bodily threat, censorship, doxing, canceling, racial profiling, and even murder. The fact that such did not happen directly here, excepting profiling, does not change the fact these are the means by which BLM leverages its political will. Writing and editorializing in support of BLM at this date speaks to implicit support for these means on your paper’s behalf.
Does the (your paper) believe that ALL WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACIST by virtue of their birth? That is what BLM stands for. Is calling 65% of your potential readership racists truthful, or a community service in any way? We are no longer in hypothetical ground, over a year of events have happened.
In the fourth paragraph, your article dredges up shameful rhetorical tricks: paraphrasing ‘busses of white supremacists, snipers,’ etc. for no good reason other than virtue signaling and defamation (i.e, obviously, anyone not in agreement with “our Black Lives Matter march” is a white supremacist, pick-up driving, gun-carrying sniper). Such sad stereotyping.
I don’t follow the paper every day, but even my cursory attention has seen articles featuring the local organizers of the referenced BLM March. Why you give attention to such angry divisive people, who clearly hate this community and its people, is beyond me. Their opinions are not news.
Please don’t bother to write trying to fob me off with some pap about how ‘our BLM march’ was not for the BLM organization, etc. That doesn’t wash today. Marching, etc. “for BLM” is supporting its Marxist Founders and their goals, including siphoning millions of dollars to their personal bank accounts. It is also now transparently clear that BLM’s actual goal is to be paid (Tulsa Memorial Day 2021 BLM March), as if any informed adult is surprised by that. If you haven’t educated yourselves about this group in the past year, do so today.
