WTF is all i can say about my shooting performance. Here's my list of excuses: hurt by strong hand a week before, new trigger fitted but not tuned, no practice, blah blah blah.
The match was super fun though! lots of steel, fast movements and that one stage where we shot from a moving Gator! so bloody fun. Thanks to the Custer Mooseketeers for setting up this match.
It was a fun match if I didn't end up sick, not Covid, but some crazy food poisoning and muscle aches. Was struggling to finish the match esp when it's so cold and wet out. That said, a match for a good cause is always worth participating in. Thanks ESSTAC for sponsoring the match.
Rules are USPSA scoring, stage design etc. but it's an outlaw match.

I recently found out that there was a company who's making 170mm magazines that is purported to be able to fit 30 rounds of 9mm ammo so I decided to purchase one to give it a try.
Company is called MBXExtreme.com and they currently have four models of magazines 170/140 in 9mm and 140mm in 40S&W and 140mm in 45ACP.
According to the website, the 140mm 9mm magazines can hold 24 rounds and 170mm can hold 29-30 rounds.
As you can see from the video, I could fit 30 rounds in the magazine but not without some help. I think it'll get better after "breaking in" the springs.
It is still not very clear to me how beneficial 30+1 rounds would be for me as most stages are around 30-32 rounds max especially with the stress that it puts on my grip. Perhaps it would be most beneficial if it was 31+1 for a maximum of 32rounds in the magazine.
I have a match coming up in a few days, I'll take it out for a spin and report back with another video.

Week #35. Trying to rebuild the Tutorial system but came up with a tutorial assistant instead for now. You can enable it and it'll show you which buttons to press to start the game, or unload and show clear. Hope it helps new players. Will think about a full tutorial sometime in the future. This week's stage comes from last year's Area One Championships in St. George Utah. This is stage two, Bridge the Gap. A fun stage where shooters have to stand on planks to shoot.
Changelog v0.47
* New USPSA Stage from Area One
* Simple Tutorial Assistant
* Lighting improvements in main menu
* Movement Restrictions removed from all stages
* Fixed tutorial video
Enjoy!

Twas a good day to be shooting but oh so bloody hot. The sun was out in full force, although the official temperature was at a maximum of 78, it felt like it was 95. we were all sweating and getting sunburnt.
Match was so-so for me, I think I came in 4th overall. I knew I was slowing down and made some mistakes including a mike on stage 4.
Gun run flawlessly again. I'm going to be shooting my 38 super comp till the end of the season before switching to the 9mm major upper that John of jplprecision.com is making for me.
Enjoy!

Shot this USPSA like match (one stage shot three times) at the West Coast Armory range in Bellevue, WA. We shot the same stage twice, once in low light and the third time was a quick round dumping stage. I shot the lowlight stages with www.glowammo.com which is a non-incendiary chemical tracer. Pretty interesting results. can't see much from the first person view but def from the 3rd person. Will load up more GlowAmmo and record the effects.

Needed to get out to shoot this match despite the nasty traffic. I just got my backup gun back from John and had to give it a run as the fit was super tight. Had just one stovepipe but otherwise the gun ran fine. The slide felt a little weird but it should work itself out.
Did not have good vision discipline which resulted in a ton of charlies.
